The location of this restaurant was quite far, since we came from the center of Berlin, we took public transports to get here, it took much longer than I expected. even my friend drove here by car, they said the same. But it was quite close to the tram stop. It was't so difficult to find. We got our table not long after we walked in, well, probably because We had reservation. I also checked thier menu, the price generally wasn't expensive. After we ordered our drinks and handed over our promotion code. then we were all set for the buffet. At least, that was what I thought would be. But we were waiting and waiting, ended up wait for one and half hour till our spare ribs, we already talked with the stuff, they told us that the chef was already perparing it. Well, we were there quite early (around 18:30) and it wasn't that many people comparied with two hour later. Besides, they got a big table of guests, their orders just keep coming. We already started to joke an wonder if because the promotion. I didn't eat anything for almost the whole day for this, it was like torture. We were from the beginning excited and in the good mood till at the end, we all just wanted to leave. it looked like they didn't have many stuff here, there were only got two people to served all tables at the restaurant. The drinks we ordered did come really fast, and the salats. The bright side is that we did chat quite long time, but again, it probably would be better when we weren'T starving. After more than 1 and half hours waiting. Finally, we got the spare ribs we were waiting for. It tasted quited delicious. They brought us the dish which got 6-7 huge ribs, it didn't take long for us to finished it. The second plate didn't take long to come after we asked for it. I think the potion were really enough and I think the ribs tasted quite good. Overall, I'm not sure if I would come all the way just for this again because of the experience I had, Maybe when I somehow around this area.

I will say I've definitely had better steaks in my life time, but for the price I guess you can't…read morecomplain too much. This one is easily one of the cheapest dine in steakhouses I've been to. As I recall from my meal, I did their ribeye ordered medium. First thing I had noticed was the interesting choice of dried spices it was topped off with, and while it cut pretty easy it definitely was on the chewy side and had this weird fishy after taste (almost as if they cooked a fish on the same pan they cooked my steak). For sides, a mac n cheese and a side of green beans all to share. Mac n cheese a bit on the soupy side... meh, nice try. Green beans... definitely not so fresh. Service... One dude manning the entire place it seemed. He was the one who greeted us and waited our table. While service at any dine in restaurant in Germany in general is pretty slow, for all I know it could've been our waiter cooking the steaks himself as he was literally the only person I noticed working in the entire establishment. Anyways, not sure I got much else for ya. They do have English menus available here, but prices are not up to date so you have to refer to the regular menu in German to try and figure it out. I can only give four stars for now, as I didn't order what I should havethe filet steak…read more I got the Hüftsteak and it was pretty good, although more rare than medium, and had enough fat/tendons in it that there were pieces I couldn't chew. But I'm not a steak expert, and my husband found it very tender and easy to eat. I forget that steak is not really my thing unless it is a good (read: more expensive) cut. I should really stick to chicken or Schweinefilet unless I want to get the good stuff. The beilagen we orderedBratkartoffeln, Foliekartoffel, roasted onionwere very good. Plentiful, nicely spiced. The mushroom sauce I ordered was so-lala, not bad, but nothing to rave about. The salad was positively awfuldrenched in a not-nice dressing, the iceberg was limp even as it arrived at the table. But, how much can you complain for the price We went tonighta Fridayaround 7.30 and the place was not terribly busy, but they had enough to do. The staff were friendly and the food came out very quickly. I ordered a white wine which could have been colder, but who knows how long a white wine stays chilled at this temperature (around 30° I think) anyway. Service was prompt and efficient. At some point I was eating around the rawer bits in my steak and a servernot the one who'd been serving uscame and asked if I'd like it to be put back on the grill, which I declinedI was not hungry enough to finish it anyway. Next time, though, I will probably order the filet and probably medium well instead of medium. Not only for the price, but in general, a very angenehme experience. We will be back soon to try out different cuts of meat and for sure leave the salad (and possibly sauce) out of the picture. Two people, two 500 gram steaks, five sides and two drinks plus two sauces came out to just over EUR40. You get a better steak at Blockhouse, sure, but San Diego didn't seem to want to kick us out of our seats the second we were finished, unlike some more upscale places. The situation of the restaurant is also very scenic and relaxing. We were greeted as we entered and bid adieu as we left; we felt very welcome and comfortable there. Altogether a very nice experience. Will update here after our next visit.
