The reason is the waiter/owner was grumpy and when I asked for a takeaway box for the moyin moyin he actually scowled! Wow. The moyin moyin is quite flavourful but the jollof rice is a real disappointment. I've had far better in Ghana. The interior is quite small with only a couple of tables with lovely African sculptures all around. There is chalkboard of specials along with the regular menu. Sadly the sweet potato balls were sold out so I got the moin moin and the spinach stew. All together less than a tenner. There are four pieces of moin moin, which are just deliciously savoury. I recommend eating them with the nonspicy spinach stew with melon seed, which, whilst not delicious, was tasty and filling. It would be perfect on a cold winter night. If I was in the area, I would return just for the moin moin!

Sade, the co-owner and chef, was just getting set up in the kitchen and told me about what options were popular. As the name suggests, they specialise in Joloff rice, a delicious stewed tomato and rice dish from West Africa. I got the "Okocha" which was rice, chicken, and plantains and was very very satisfied. It was a heaping portion of rice, well enough to fill me and then some, along with delicious chicken and sweet plantains. It stayed hot in the box the whole way home. My friend got the £7 lunch special of rice and chicken and was very satisfied. I will definitely be back and hope to support this business in the future!
