I was walking along Dona Soledad Extension the other day when I came across this new steakhouse that looks like it's just about ready to open. For now, it can't open yet because the road is being paved and there's no way for anyone to enter the restaurant.
It looks more like a house whose frontage has been converted into a specialty restaurant. As far as I know, there are no steakhouses in the general vicinity of Better Living, Paranaque. So it could be a good idea.
Adjoining the new restaurant is a car repair shop which is part of the compound. There are a number of successful car repair shops whose owners decided to put up restaurants. There are a couple along Pasong Tamo in Makati which I used to frequent back in the day.
Steak 101 can be a hit depending on the quality of the steaks they serve. They don't have to be too upscale like wagyu or kobe beef. Batangas beef is good enough.
I expect the place to open towards the end of June, in which case I plan to go back and give their steaks a try. In the meantime, the place looks good both inside and outside. Parking should not be a problem because of the large garage of the repair shop.
And face it, who doesn't love a good steak? read more
