There's a for sale sign in the yard, which is kind of weird, right? Also the front desk staff acted annoyed an indignant at check-in and check-out. The groomer was friendly, and fluffy pup looked great. But as much as they charge compared to other groomers, and as long as we had to wait for an open appointment (literally 6 weeks), they could at least pretend like they're happy to see a customer. Will I be back? Maybe. If I can get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise, nah.

After a few months in town, I asked our new Jeff City vet if she could recommend a groomer and she said Shed, Bath and Beyond was the one she'd endorse. I reluctantly gave them a call. I'm picky about the way my dog's hair is cut and he also has skin allergies that make his skin easily irritated. The owner, Jennifer, is so pleasant and professional. She listened to all of my concerns answered all of my questions. I made the appointment and I'm so glad I did. It's a beautiful salon located in a resorted Victorian home. The groomers are incredibly professional and my boy loves going for his regular appointments at SBB. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision and you won't find a better grooming salon in the bigger cities.

Tailspin offers daycare options, which my pup can go in for a full day of play or just hang out for half of a day which can be really helpful for the both of us. He is a young rescue who needs to be socialized properly to other dogs and we found the perfect place for him where he plays comfortably and can also even stay nights comfortably! We have learned his favorite activities include the beloved splash pad they have, he loves the pools and water so during the warm days you'll only see pictures of him in the pool maybe alone or with a buddy or two. He loves meeting and making new friends with dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities but is favorite is the busy dogs who like to play non stop, cause that's only fitting for him.... With his endless energy! After a long day of playing, getting his energy out, being aloud to be a dog, making new friends, swimming til his heart is content and rolling in all the dirt he can find... he always comes home spotless, tired and happy. I refused and stuck to the original $250, and I'm glad I did because after everything that unfolded, I would have lost even more money. After sending the deposit, I raised concerns about the puppy's eyes. In every photo, they appeared misaligned or hidden. More than half the time I couldn't see both eyes at the same time The puppy's tongue constantly stuck out, even at 9 weeks old, which can be a sign of underlying developmental or neurological issues. I asked for clearer photos and about the dog's health, it took persistent follow-up just to get partial answers. Rather than being transparent, Brandi kept deflecting or trying to push me toward a different litter instead of acknowledging what was visibly wrong with the dog I already paid toward. That alone was a huge red flag. On top of that, I paid extra for Good Dog's "deposit protection" thinking I'd be covered, but they refused to refund me, even though I had asked them to look into the dog's health concerns since the breeder was dodging accountability. So beware, Good Dog is not nearly as secure or trustworthy as they claim. I do not recommend this breeder. She was not transparent, not responsive, and avoided giving straightforward answers when health concerns were raised. If you're looking for a healthy puppy from someone you can trust, do your homework and look elsewhere. Don't rely on platforms like Good Dog alone. Research the breeder yourself.
