Not quite reaching the 5-star status with me because parking was kind of weird, street parking only (I think) and it's busy with other pet parents zooming in and out, so it feel very chaotic. There's a for sale sign in the yard, which is kind of weird, right? Also the front desk staff acted annoyed an indignant at check-in and check-out. The groomer was friendly, and fluffy pup looked great. But as much as they charge compared to other groomers, and as long as we had to wait for an open appointment (literally 6 weeks), they could at least pretend like they're happy to see a customer. Will I be back? Maybe. If I can get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise, nah.

After a few months in town, I asked our new Jeff City vet if she could recommend a groomer and she said Shed, Bath and Beyond was the one she'd endorse. I reluctantly gave them a call. I'm picky about the way my dog's hair is cut and he also has skin allergies that make his skin easily irritated. The owner, Jennifer, is so pleasant and professional. She listened to all of my concerns answered all of my questions. I made the appointment and I'm so glad I did. It's a beautiful salon located in a resorted Victorian home. The groomers are incredibly professional and my boy loves going for his regular appointments at SBB. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision and you won't find a better grooming salon in the bigger cities.
