*do not believe the 5 star ratings* This place went downhill over the years. Came here on a Friday night, 1 server and 1 busser only. The place filled up fast and every table was waiting for the single server to make her rounds. We waited 30-40minutes after our first round (small portions) of meat to get our second round. We waited with our empty plates, and all the other tables looked just as disappointed that we chose to eat here this night. My partner and I even thought about just leaving and walking across the street for a cheaper kbbq spot and a better experience, but that would've been messed up. The worst service of my entire life. We only had around 3 rounds of meat and were there for nearly 2 hours. The portions were small, the cuts were way too fatty and the brisket sauce on the table barely had any flavor. The server walked away as I was asking for water- which we got towards the end of our meal 2 hours in!!!! We just wanted to leave at that point even though we were still hungry. The busser was doing more serving than the actual server- I made my partner ask the busser if he would get to pocket the tip given directly to him (he got a $20 from us!). To my surprise, the bill already came w a service charge of $15 with little to no good service given to us. Restaurants are generally required to conspicuously disclose mandatory service charges on their menu prices! I would never return here and I would tell anyone to just find another kbbq joint on a weekend night. I've never not tipped a server (I've been a server myself and love to generously tip), but I've also never received such terrible and rude service. Low quality kbbq meat as well! I almost forgot- when paying for the bill, the server said they didn't accept card payments, only Zelle. I told her I literally saw the table behind pay with a card. she insincerely apologized and said oh sometimes it doesn't work but if you don't have Zelle it's fine- then walked away and proceeded to take my card as payment. My boyfriend and I had a long day and wanted to treat ourselves out but we left with unsatisfied stomachs and an irritating experience. We came here after a Blackpink concert around 12:30 AM, and there were only one or two tables occupied. By 1:30 AM, the place was PACKED, with a bunch of people waiting outside. I love that this KBBQ spot stays open until 4 AM which is perfect if you're craving Korean food after a night out. Coming from the Bay Area, I'm used to KBBQ being expensive, so I was surprised to find that it's only $27.99 per person here. Everything was pretty good and tastes like your average KBBQ place! They have a variety of sides and appetizers like cheese corn, steamed egg, japchae, ramen, soup, and more! My only complaint is the service. Side dishes - ok / a lil bland, except the kimchi. The kimchi had a nice kick. Also saw that it's an extra charge if you refill the sides & rice more than 2 times which is not what we're used to. Parking - free parking lot & street parking available. Overall, I didn't love it but it's a good pick for late night cravings since most of the other AYCE restaurants closes earlier. I have been to this restaurant a couple times and I think it may be under new ownership or management. Nonetheless still a good experience! We did the 27.99 and you get a lot of different meats with it. The staff switched out the plates with good timing and also helped cut some of the meat during their down time. A downside we faced with the experience was that we were told their credit card systems weren't working so it was cash or Zelle. I hope this was just a coincidence and not a frequent thing that happens. Overall it was still a great experience with friendly staff. Parking is $5 if you eat in the complex too. I see a lot of reviews saying the meat was fatty but i disagree it was actually not as fatty as other places i have been too. Pretty disappointing considering we walked in with little expectations.. one star for the quick set up and another for no wait on Xmas while all the other kbbq spots in the area were an hour wait. It was pretty much all down hill from there..the menu is very limited, meat is very plain with basic dipping sauces and anytime you ask for assistance or a refill the servers would literally run from you before you could finish your sentence and half the time they forget what you asked for.. The ventilation is also terrible. Granted for the price I'm not expecting top tier quality or service, I just wish they didn't treat us like anytime we needed something we were such a burden. While generous, I'm not a shill and didn't undermine my integrity as a reviewer (at least not today ... mostly because I was DD tonight). The place wasn't the cleanest and while our servers were very responsive and helpful, our hostess was a bit rude, as she avoided our gazes/signals constantly and her demeanor was overall dismissive and impatient. I wrote this review in essentially the amount of time it took to get her attention to order more food. Our favorites were the pork/beef belly and spicy bulgogi. You also should order the steamed egg and soybean soup (1 order per 2 people). They're also fairly generous with their banchan, which was a plus. They do NOT honor their "free soda for a checkin" offer on Yelp. Not sure if we'd return, but it is fairly cheap for typical AYCE KBBQ. It was my first time, me and siblings wanted some Korea bbq around the neighborhood and we decided to try this place out but we were really disappointed. We ordered meat and some rice but the rice looked a bit yellowish, had sour smell and taste. We told the server about it she kept insisting that the rice was cooked that day, we told that we understand but we did not want eat spoiled rice especially with 2 little kids with us. She said that the new rice will take about 15-20 mins so we waited but it's been almost an hour and they haven't served us but seen other customers were given freshly cooked rice. So followed up and she said another 20 mins. Pretty much we were served rice when we finished already. We kept calling for help but we were ignored for awhile. Option A for $27.99 this place has different options at different price levels. We just got the first option as we are happy with what it offered. It has beef and pork options but no seafood. You can also get Korean stews and steamed egg. My favorite meat is the thinly sliced pork belly and the boneless short ribs, they were very tender. I wasn't fan of the brisket nor the beef belly as it was tough to eat. Service was a bit slow as there wasn't alot of workers, the lady who helped us was very attentive though. She even gave us a complimentary bottle of soju! I would recommend here if you want AYCE BBQ but don't wanna spend too much.
