Front Yard Work Not Done…read more We found Canada's Gardenland on homestars.com and were impressed by many good reviews. Ayrat seemed to be a professional and a good person. At the very beginning of May 2015 we made a deal and were told that the work will be done in 1,5-2 months. After 2 months I called Ayrat several times and each time he gave me a new date and a promise to come by for signing a contract. Not once I cancelled my plans and waited for him with a deposit, but he never showed up. Last time I called him on the first week of August and was told that the work will be done until end of the week. At the end of August I finally got they were simply ignoring us and tried to look for other landscaping companies, but the closest start date was in November, that is too late for us. On November 9th, I called Ayrat to ask why they didn't show up or called. He told me that they were busy and he can do my front yard NEXT YEAR!!! When I said that I'll post a negative review on homestars.com, he said he will delete it and LAUGH AT ME! So, we made an agreement, got several promises for start date and the company simply ignored us because our budget was less than other clients. We were constantly kicked to the end of their waiting list because other contracts were much more attractive and our turn NEVER CAME! I posted a negative review on homestars.com (that was deleted because no money flow occurred, that is the site policy) and got a number of calls from Ayrat. He confirmed that the reason he was pushing us to the end of clients line were other fat contracts and asked me would I personally chose a less profitable deal. He told I should go and find another contractor instead of writing a review on him (I did in August, but it was too late, summer was gone). He told that we didn't sign a contract (because he didn't bother to come) and our verbal agreement and email with work description and a quote are not enough for obligations. Also he told me that he doesn't like to deal with Russians because they are SHIT (implying that I'm shit writing a bad review). Ok, this is a feedback from a second-sort client, who was ignored over other exclusive ones that pay more.

They dispatched an unsupervised subcontractor to repair a roof leak at my home. It was an absolute disaster. Using sub-standard materials and atrocious workmanship, he actively made the leak worse--all while manipulating me into paying nearly $1,000 for useless "repairs". When the leak immediately flooded again, the subcontractor tried to extort more money from me, blamed me for his failure, and aggressively pressured me to grant him entry to my home. When another company representative finally inspected the damage, he explicitly admitted the subcontractor's work was completely improper and revealed they had been forced to fire him due to a string of client complaints. Despite sending a rogue contractor who caused further damage, management took zero responsibility. The unaddressed breach forced me to pay thousands out of pocket to have the entire roof replaced by a competent contractor. Worst of all is their cowardice in customer service. A representative promised to discuss my reasonable request for reimbursing the wasted $950 and get back to me. They completely stonewalled me and never called back. Leaving a retired senior out of pocket for a disaster of their own creation and then ghosting them is disgraceful. Operating under the name "Integrity" while abandoning customers the moment a mistake is made is pure hypocrisy. Look elsewhere.
