It was scary for us, but we called Mindy and she was so polite and let me ask all the questions I needed! She brought us over to do an evaluation and see how our dogs get along with her Lab and a couple other dogs staying there. Mindy and her husband do such an amazing job at sending us updates with pictures and communicating in a timely manner. It's also nice to know that groups are more intimate so I know my dogs as well as the other dogs staying with them get all the affection and attention they can get! Thank you House of Mutts for being a wonderful place for my pups

We took him a few times for daycare before we left and he loved it. They were very attentive and he got to play with other dogs and still got his scratches and pets. He wasn't all that excited to leave. We will continue to bring him for daycare so he can see his new doggie and human friends. Enzo boarding experience was just as great as daycare. They continually send pictures and let us know how he was doing but we could see from his face he was having a grand time. We are so relieved to have a place to leave our precious little boy knowing that he is safe, happy and very well taken care of!!! Thank you House of Mutts!!!

I cannot say enough phenomenal things about Lily and Pick of the Litter! This was my first time…read moreever leaving my corgi with someone, and I honestly thought I was going to feel so anxious. But from the moment I left, Lily made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. Lily followed Butters' routine PERFECTLY, was incredibly sweet and professional, and kept me updated throughout the entire stay with thoughtful texts, videos, and pictures. It meant so much knowing Butters was not only being well taken care of, but genuinely loved and treated like her own. I am officially a huge fan of Pick of the Litter and would recommend Lily to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their furry loved one. I really appreciate the pride and care Pick of the Litter puts into choosing the people who look after our little loved ones. We will absolutely be back!

Susie is very loving and responsible. My dogs adore her! We typically book her for live-in stays, but on occasion we also use her for drop in care. I always receive updates with photos and my dogs always appear relaxed and happy. It makes such a difference having the same person care for my pets, and gives me so much peace of mind. Lisa, the owner, is in tune with all her caregivers. Recently, our flight kept getting delayed and we ended up having to ask Susie to stay longer than anticipated. Once we landed, I let Susie know she could leave as we would be home soon. Before we got home I received an email from Lisa asking me to let her know we made it home so as our dogs were not left without care in the event something delayed us further. We had used other sitters before we found Pick of the Litter, and nothing compares to the care and communication we receive from them. I highly recommend!

Back in July, my wife and I stopped by Central Bark Paradise Valley after being on their mailing…read morelist. I even got a personalized call from Dan to come to the grand opening and also to consider bringing my dog Bailee by. While we're working on some reactivity issues with Bailee, we hope to get to the point soon where we can bring her to Central Bark to take advantage of so many wonderful services so close to home. We attended the grand opening which gave us the opportunity to meet the staff, learn about services, get a tour of the facility, learn about special offers, try some tasty food, and visit vendors visiting for the grand opening. There was even a (dog) "kissing booth" (or room). The vendors offered creative companies that feature pet/animal services. Snacks included bagels, Jimmy John's, and more. They gave us coupons for grooming and boarding. The staff all seemed very nice and certainly very helpful. The physical space is so much larger than you'd expect when just walking into the main welcome area. You can learn more about Central Bark at https://www.centralbarkusa.com/paradise-valley to join their mailing list or check out their many services. There are coupons on the website so that you can try a free day of enrichment dog day care, 20% off first night of dog boarding, and 20% off first dog bath or groom. They are open weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM and on weekends by appointment only. While we don't have Bailee going over to Central Bark yet, we anticipate it is only a matter of time before she heads over there. Likely, first for a grooming, and later for other services. We're glad they opened nearby!

We are OBSESSED with Central Bark and can't recommend it enough! If you have a dog, this place is…read moreseriously a game changer. From the moment we walked in, it felt different in the best way: clean, organized, and run by people who truly understand and love dogs. They even made a personalized Christmas ornament for us with our dogs paw print :) We started with their free Puppy Hour and it was the perfect intro, safe, controlled, and such a great way to build confidence and social skills. After seeing how excited our dog was to go (like... happy wiggles the second we pull up), we were sold. What we love most is how flexible it is. No huge monthly commitment, just a reasonable per-day option that works perfectly with our hybrid work schedules and travel. And the daily "report cards" are everything: real updates, adorable pictures, and it's so clear they actually know your dog and pay attention. Central Bark's whole-dog approach is the reason we chose them over anywhere else. They emphasize balanced play, rest breaks, enrichment, small groups, and extra one-on-one attention if your pup wants it. It's not just "chaos in a room" with no supervision. It's thoughtful care that leaves our dog happy, calm, and fulfilled. And Dan, the owner, is amazing! He's so attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested. He remembers names after one interaction, makes you feel welcome, and treats your dog like family. Even with a bit of a drive, we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. If you're on the fence, GO! The first day is free anyways, so it's no risk or commitment. You and your pup are going to love it.

We can hardly get his leash off, he's so eager to see friends. We love the live cameras in the yard and inside the hound lounge. It's so nice to be able to check on our fur baby and see what he is up to! One of the main reasons we love Always Unleashed is not only the live cameras, but they are "always unleashed!" They don't kennel the dogs. They all hang out together outside and inside. All the dogs seem calm because they don't have the pent up anxiety of being in a kennel outside of their home. They aren't barking all the time and agitated. They are hanging together as a group. The outside has a ton of misters and a large pool for the pups. They have lots of room to play. Our dog Booker has made friends with other dogs and it's so fun to see him playing and happy. He was boarded over his birthday this past year and they gave him special treats and extra attention. They sent us pictures and videos. They are currently under renovation, redoing the front office check-in space. It will be nice when it's all completed, but it's been nice they have stayed open during the renovation. This summer our flight was delayed flying home from Chicago and Shea was great letting us pick up Booker a little later. We didn't want to wait another day to see our baby! Another time we were stuck on the 17 in traffic because of an accident coming home from Flagstaff. They understand how important our fur baby is to us! Another time Booker got a hot spot on his paw and they were on the phone with me about it and how I wanted it treated. Then after he was home Shea followed up with me to see how he was doing. Booker always comes home happy and tired. Always Unleashed is a great place for day care or boarding, highly recommend.
