The elevator was never overly crowded or took too long to get to. +There was nata and port wine available every afternoon in the lobby. Loved it. +I personally love the design of the room. Loved the art style and the design. The restroom in particular was cool / super modern and had a nice contrast against the more classic style of the hotel. The bed too was comfy and all the amenities were there from locks to hangers. Yes, water is like 2.5 euros but for the huge bottle, that's not bad at all to me. +I personally love where this is located at. It's a quick walk to the Tagus and a lot of the coastal sights, restaurants and not too far from other metros. Also easy to hail a taxi. Also, if you like to party/go to Pink Street, its so close and easy to get to. Pro/Con: +/- Noise-wise, I was placed in a room on the 2nd floor near the alleyway. I heard a tiny bit of noise from the busy Pink Street area below, so it wasn't that bad. Would just check in with the lobby to see if you can be placed higher if you think the noise is going to be an issue. Also, if you're not going to be going to Pink Street at all, you may run into both drunken party patrons or the 'drug dealers' accidentally as you try to get elsewhere. Wasn't a big deal and can just ignore them, but just as a FYI. +/- The rooms have a slightly weird card system in which you have to keep your card near the key reader in order to open. The trick (as someone in the lobby taught me) was just to press up the higher part of the card against the reader and hold it there. Cons: -There was only one plug that I could find in the room, so if you need a few items that need charging, you will just have to make sure to change things out. -Super small desk. So if you need to work or want to read/write at a desk, it'll be a bit tough. Love that it was so close to Time Out Market and the metro/train station to some of the other cities. Unfortunately our "Classic" room's view had of the backside of another building but we did appreciate the balcony. Breakfast was not included in our rate. Coffee is not available in the rooms or lobby in the early morning and the breakfast seemed to have a late start. Thankfully, there's a pastelaria across the street on the corner. The bathroom was very sleek and modern, but the entire wall and floor (including inside the step-in shower) is covered in some strange fabric. I cannot imagine what the actual floor beneath that fabric in the shower looks like in regard to hair and soap residue. The shower had a traditional European wand option and a ceiling-mounted head, not making it convenient for women who don't want to get their hair wet to shower.

If there were a way to hold the telephone shower head at the level of my face rather than my navel, it'd be perfect.

When something is missing, like an iron and ironing board, one can be supplied by just asking the front desk. The people who clean the rooms are quick and do a great job. Excellent stay and hope to stay here again when I return to Lisbon.

Window is able to be partially opened but it was so windy that it felt as if it would be ripped off their hinges entirely! We were in the 7th floor, facing the street, you can still hear the street traffic. That might be a consideration when getting a room. Toilet with bidet, the bathtub is that odd European style of a high tub, no grab bar other than the far end, short tub door that makes the floor inevitably wet. Do be careful getting in and out as it is slippery! Our stay included buffet dinner: pasta penne with sparse sauce , steamed veggies had some raw pieces of eggplant which is inedible, grilled turkey and baked pork loin were also quite tough and dry. The mixed greens salad ended up being the better choice. Water table service is either carbonated or flat, thankfully I was allowed to take a bottle to my room! Otherwise water or soda is from the mini bar. Our tour group also had bottles of wine being served and that's not a great idea with a 2:30 am departure time to get on the 6:15 flight out of Lisbon. Located in a central location. Porter service was organized and on time - crucial for a group of 47!!

They charge $14 Eu for continental breakfast. We skipped. They have complimentary coffee, water, and Port Wine in the lobby. This is a perfect location to enjoy a lot of restaurants and entertainment. It was very clean and I would return.

The rooms were very large, comfortable, and many provided great views of the city. The price was very reasonable and overall the room was a great value. One recommendation: if you are driving in you should reconsider the suggestions of the staff on the nearest parking lot. We were directed to the parking lot straight ahead by the statue and given no estimate of price, just told that was the best spot for parking. This would ultimately cost over 40E a day and we were told by the parking attendant that no hotel should ever recommend people to part there. Outside of this, we really enjoyed our stay.

There was only one attendant at the concierge and I was the second online to check in. After several minutes, a second person came, and completely ignored me and decided to help someone else that wasn't even on line. When I told him I have been waiting, he held up his hand in a halt sign. When he finally decided to "help" me, he got frustrated with his computer and ignored me. He told his partner to check me in. When I got to my room finally at 10 PM I couldn't get the lights to turn on. No one at the front desk informed me that you had to insert the room key card to turn the lights on. When I finally got a look at the room, which made no sense to me, I had three single beds. Mind you I was a single traveler. I wanted to put some perishables in the fridge and it was locked. When I called the front desk they said I had to leave my credit card information. After giving them my credit card information, I had to call Again four times before someone finally made it up to the room to unlock the fridge. By this time it was midnight way pass the time I wanted to go to bed. If you are a tourist, this hotel is not in near city center. It is a five minute walk to the metro station and another 20 minutes or more to downtown. The exterior of the hotel looks rather drab.Also the neighborhood doesn't have much going on. If you are visiting Lisbon for a short period time I highly recommend getting a different hotel closer to downtown.

We had to get extra cute luggage from cavalinho store. Also visit the mundo de sardines to take home some giftable sardines. $6-$22 a pice but the store is a carnival. The night time chocolate was something I looked forward to. They did skip a night. One day the forgot the washcloths. Also to note the bathtubs in the nh hotels are too slippery and hard to get into the shower.

We let them know of our 9:45 am arrival and greatly appreciated that they had a room ready for us and even upgraded to a city view. The room was a comfortable size with a large table and two chairs. The Fine hotel welcome gift was three maroons each representing different tastes of locations in Portugal with a small bottle of port - really nice welcome gift! For night lights, if you leave the closet door open, the light is motion activated and the vanity mirror light can be left on. The shower was in the tub with high sides. There is a toilet and separate bidet. My two dislikes were: It was difficult to get to the toilet unless you closed the bathroom door or squeezed around the door, since the toilet was behind the door. The other was the shower - you had to get into the tub to turn on the water, so you are likely to get some cold water on you unless you knew exactly how to adjust the various knobs so the water came out of the handheld showerhead vs the overhead shower or the faucet. I appreciated the Nespresso espresso maker and refrigerator and bottles of water. I also appreciated the new boxes of tissues when I showed an empty box due to my cold/bronchitis. Wonderfully plush slippers - I think the best I have felt in any hotel. The hotel is on the "Champs-Élysées" Portugal version street with luxury stores and tented vendors on the weekends. It is a short walk, 10 minutes, to the Parque Edwardo VII park where the Hop On/Hop Off and Cityrama Gray Line tour buses are located. I was impressed by the breakfast buffet every day and the staff. We came first thing and also one day towards the end - the food was always fresh, refreshed, and delicious - with eggs, breakfast meats, cold cuts, cheeses, waffles, and beautiful fresh, sliced fruit and several fruit juices. You can also get coffee or cappuccinos. The staff was always attentive, whisking away a used plate and giving you fresh silverware. We ordered beef fillet with foie gras which was amazing and cheesy pizza I think around 3am. Did not taste like 3am food. Was phenomenal. Lobby: a work of art. You'll see many beautiful people flowing in and out. Someone is always present to assist you, whether it be with finding a restaurant or booking a ride. Pool: The pool is a little lackluster but we weren't there for the pool anyways, and the private garden was great for intimate drinks and snacks. Loved the staff here and the very nice pool restrooms. SEEN Sky Bar: when I stayed here, I did not realize that this rooftop bar was a highlight of the city. On weekends closer to 8 PM, it starts to get incredibly packed up here and I would highly recommend a reservation if you're planning on grabbing more than just a drink. The view is breathtaking, and the drinks are delicious, but are not on the cheaper side.
