I've visited during the soft opening. Really cool spot! The service was swift! I like the layout of the place. The prices are reasonable. I also loved the grab and go breakfast sandwich station, however I wish they had a plant based option. I had a drip coffee with oat milk and it was decent. The cinammon rolls looked amazing as well as the spinach breakfast tarts I saw.

Excited to have another coffee shop within walking distance to home and work! The space is cool and industrial but welcoming, and the barista was super nice and pleasant. I tried their iced maple cardamom latte, it definitely packs a flavor punch, I really enjoyed the flavor. I also tried their Biscoff cookie danish, the Biscoff filling is delicious, I wish there were more of it in the danish. Sealing their coffee cups with a can sealer so they have a tab top is a different and fun coffee experience. I will definitely be back and wish them great success!

i ordered a banana cold brew. honestly i'm not a cold brew drinker so i felt like it was too strong for my taste. but otherwise the banana flavor was yummy. i should've tried the latte version since that's more my vibe...but i heard this spot was known for their cold brews and cups so i wanted to give it a try. barista was kind. and i love the seating. indoor/outdoor with a view of the capital buildings!

The Daily Grind is a great place to grab a breakfast sandwich and caffeinated drink. I've only ever…read moregotten breakfast to go, but they do have a seating area. They have a unique selection of egg sandwich options, I've sampled a good number and all have been delicious. I love that they have some breakfast sandwiches with eggplant on them, you don't find that in most places... I also appreciate that their breakfast sandwiches come with a coffee or tea and are reasonably priced. They sell coffee beans and baked goods as well as a few lunch sandwiches. Service can be a bit slow on a busy day, but is worth the wait. There is no parking lot, you'll need to try your luck with street parking around Lark Street. I'm already looking forward to my next breakfast sandwich!

It's been so long since I've visited the Daily Grind. I really cannot say why I stopped going. It…read moreis a local gem that has served the area for decades. The breakfasts and coffee are solid. The staff is helpful and courteous. I showed up for breakfast recently. I ordered the Chorizo. Two eggs, two chorizo sausages with pepper jack cheese and spicy mayo on a sandwich roll. It was as good as I remembered. I also enjoyed the coffee included in the $11.45 price. I took the meal upstairs where there's additional seating. I ate it while seated inside the picture window, which is a good place to the activity along Lark St. The eatery is as eclectic as ever. There are signs and artwork on the walls from different eras that don't go together. The place is old and perhaps a bit musty. Still this place had so much history with the area and its mismatched decor is a part of its charm. Change may be good. But in the case of the Daily Grind, I'm happy to still be able to get a delicious meal at a reasonable price from a nice staff after all of these years. Comfort food at its best.
