My 1st experience with them was fantastic. They were able to get (they didn't have it in stock) & fill my prescription by 5 pm. The current 3 letter pharmacy I go to would have made me wait 3 days and given me such a hassle. 1st time speaking to them- phone answered right away (no press 1 for ____ press 2 for _____ & then hold for 5 min). Actual (nice) human being answered! Took 2 min to get all my info & explain situation to me. She also cheerfully offered to deliver! I'm so impressed I think I'm going to be transferring all of my & my kids prescriptions here. Transferring is a pain, but I think it'll be worth it to not be "just a #" at my current pharmacy. I've known Lawrence for a handful of years now and this guy knows everything to do with medications, side effects and the newest products out there. I do rely on him to give me the best explanation on what to expect if I'm taking a medication I don't know much about. He's always funny and so eager to educate. I recently moved to LA and still call Lawrence every once in a while to find out more information on medications, sometimes he knows more than my doctors. I LOVE this pharmacy, I cant say enough good things about it. I love supporting small businesses but have to be pleased with the service as well. This pharmacy treats you like family and goes out of their way to accommodate you. I have been using them for over three years and will not go anywhere else. They also offer free delivery which helped me tremendously when I did not have a car. Just recently I went to pick up a new prescription and the girl at the counter (I wish I knew her name) said would you like to renew your other prescriptions as well? I responded oh sure if its time and she said yes it is, I have them ready for you. She mentioned two of the drugs I take and I mentioned the third to which she responded, ohh you didn't have any more renewals left so I have a call in to your doctor. WOW I was impressed, who does that? The pharmacist is also very helpful and always willing to explain your medication and/or answer any questions you might have. Very unprofessional staff! We had a conflict in November, because they could not deliver the medication on time. Solved this incident, but yesterday again the problem. Misunderstanding about the price, I asked to call the manager. So instead of the manager, another pharmacist is called. As a result, the manager does not even know that the pharmacy is losing a customer because of its employees! I do not recommend to anyone. read more

Horrible ...my father has been going to this place for years ,one because it was in walking distance and two because it's not a chain store ; it is a small business ;we figured we would get better service..Ever since they changed management and Lawrence left it's gone down hill . I have dealt with every chain pharmacy on this godforsaken island and had an issue every time - from insults (one young lady told me years ago "we don't serve junkies" while she flipped my prescription back at me with a smirk) to system crashes across the chain preventing access to any of my medications and Pharmacists who couldn't be bothered to answer questions or warn about interactions. I had tried a couple of independently owned pharmacies and unfortunately most of those either closed or partnered with the chains I was desperate to avoid. Staten Island Pharmacy was a godsend and Elena and Abby are angels,(not to say any less of anyone else who works there) they answer all of your questions and are always ready to help you find solutions if an issue arises with your prescriptions. The free delivery is a big bonus as well! And the storefront is well stocked with all the items you would find in one of the chain's (and quite a few you won't!) I'll never go anywhere else again unless my insurance forces me and even then I would be kicking and screaming. read more

I called the pharmacy between their usual 12:00 and 6:00 delivery slots. Spoke to woman (I'm sorry I forgot your name! ) and told her how sick I felt and really didn't want to wait for 6:00 delivery.
