We had a couple of false starts on the first appointment, bur from that point on, John was incredibly responsive, professional and clear in communications with us. We must have had him develop and tweak the drawings 8+ times before we arrived at the final drawings. He personally came to the site to measure a few times. GKD only supplies stock cabinetry - nothing custom. Their warehouse is in New Jersey. As a result, the cabinets were delivered to us 7 days after we approved the final drawings; as promised and in good condition. One back panel was in the wrong material; the correct panel was delivered the next day. We also needed to modify and order other panels, and John was very accommodating and helpful in arranging that immediately. Other cabinet suppliers we talked to seemed to specialize in expensive custom cabinetry, which we felt was unnecessary for our needs, and the timeframe for delivery was 6 to 8 weeks (from Europe). Heaven knows what would happened if one piece was damaged or incorrect - it could protract the cabinet work by months. Speaking of costs, GKD was very affordable - again, a consideration that mattered greatly to us. The quality of the cabinets was very good, including the soft close features of the drawer and doors. The range of cabinet designs and materials was also very good. We felt we got excellent value for our money, but more than anything else, we got wonderful, personalized service from John. I highly recommend GKD and John. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I've bought from its adjacent and possibly affiliated Qin/Jin Lumber (recently renamed to something…read morelike One Corp Lumber), but this tile store holds its own court in the very specialized tile, ceramics, kitchen and bathroom supplies. We came namely to get tile for a quick repair but we've on and off noted and wanted then forgotten this place during 4 major rounds of tile-buying for our current home's ongoing progress. Finally, at last, we came and it's as good as it looks outside with immediate attentive service from the admittedly not-busy shopkeeper and tile specialist who knew what is in and out of stock which is crucial given the ongoing major supply chain problems which styme the atypically easy possibilities. We easily found tile we liked from its prominent and easy-to-peruse tile display stand and ascertained it was in stock so after easy negotiating (still a thing here), calculating, and payment, we got the car ready which thankfully is easier as this part of the block on New Utretcht Ave has some spots and loaded easily. I look forward to returning for the next round of tile as we have a stairs project which will benefit from their nice selection, very fair prices, and expert knowledge.

I had a great experience buying two kitchen cabinet sets over two years and installation of one of…read morethem after I stumbled into this storefront Contracting/kitchen & bath company on my way back to Manhattan from Ikea. While gassing up, I spied their big Kitchen, Bath, Marble sign and walked in. I'd spent hours at Ikea trying to cram their over-sized kitchen cabinetry into a tiny NYC apartment space. But Ikea stuff (the uppers) was just too bulky and big.) 360 Interior had a wide line of cabinets from different companies in many colors and Flo helped put together a nice design. He was great throughout. The price, including beautiful marble-style quartz counter was extremely competitive, especially compared to Home Depot. (Much, much lower.) This is a supply place and contractor so they also did the installation, providing insurance certificates. While the team onsite did not speak any English, we worked it out by speaking with Flo by phone back at the office. I watched them work quite closely and can tell you the workmen were meticulous and skilled, masterfully fitting the kitchenette into our slightly uneven space in a 19th century building. A year later, I bought a larger kitchen cabinetry set in cherry wood from Flo. (My contractor installed the cabinets that time.) 360 Home did the quartz marble style counter, which they again measured extremely carefully and the end result is gorgeous. It is a truly high end look. For smaller NYC apartment kitchens, this company right near Brooklyn Ikea is a place to stop in if you are serious. They carry a number of cabinet lines -- all made of wood, not MDF. The key here is that their upper cabinetry comes 12" as well as bigger. (This is a sharp and important contrast to Ikea, which switched from the old standard "12 inch upper to "15 inch upper three years ago. (Ikea made the change cuz Americans are using larger plates nowadays as part of the eat-more food trends so the uppers got bigger.) But 15 inch upper cabinets in our NYC smaller spaces look big and bulky to me. Also 360 Home has a wide, wide selection and the materials are all wood, not MDF. I'm now shopping for a third kitchen for another of our apartments at 360 Home. Stay tuned. Have really enjoyed working with this company.
