They contacted me requesting a phone call and appointment, saying that they've done a lot of staining projects. I replied by re-stating the project and sent photos to clarify. In the initial site visit/estimate we got to learn about Hansen painting co in which Jerome after 30 years of industry experience started his own company. Jerome was friendly, easy to talk to, detail oriented, professional and had a great sense of humor! He ensured in our meeting that we understood his process and had a clear understanding of the work he includes - as well he made super helpful suggestions regarding paint brands, finishes/sheen and helped my wife build confidence in all color selections. Jerome scheduled the work 2 weeks out. The first day they taped, covered everything and got right to it. Jerome was on site with his employees working with them the whole day and it was clear the respect his whole team had for him and how they adopted his values and craftsmanship. Jerome and his team finished full interior paint on our 3000sqft home 2 days ahead of schedule! The day before finishing, Jerome walked through with me and pointed out the small touch ups him and his team were completing the next day prior to closing out, and insisted we point out anything we were unhappy with, in which he called out anything I noticed and more. to be honest I was still in awe of the quality of work. Patch work was pathetic and not sanded. the job was very rushed. Painted over bad patching, so it is very hard to repair. They finished at 7:30 at night and wanted inspection and payment. After looking at the job the next day in good light, we realized how terrible it was. They were going to come out and look at the job so we could touch-up or fix, but did not show. Called one hour after set up time and said they were getting something to eat. Even poured out paint cleaning materials on the lawn and killed the grass! We had to hire another contractor to fix this mess and this will cost more than the original patch and paint job. Stay far away from this company.
