I took it right back up there just to hear the manager tell one of the employees that he knew about it but the customer didn't know about it and they take pictures that they supposed to send you but they never sent it to you and then To found out that the Manager already knew about the crack, but if I would never saw it, I feel like they was gonna try to charge me for damage to the vehicle so they didn't have anything else to replace the vehicle so I was told to come back the next day, but then I was told to call first, but nobody never answered the phone so they took my number down and was supposed to call me when they open so I'll be available to get a rental that was returned overnight going on 2 o'clock. Nobody called me. I ended up going back up there just to sit there and wait for almost an hour to hear angry customers coming in and out and then on top of that just to get turned around again now I have a rental car with the glass that started off with me seeing a whole now it's spreading and I'm still stuck with it customers. Please pay attention to your rental before you pull off in it because the pictures that they take we don't know that the car have a scratch or anything because they're not gonna send you the pictures so you'll be better off taking your own pictures. Because I really feel like if I would've never saw the glass with the damage already done to it, they was gonna try to charge me for that and then on top of that these cars don't even be getting cleaned out right I found Old water bottles under the seat some type of stuff from somebody that was camping under the seat, baby oil under the seat and built up dust that look like it could be cat hairs I get a rental every week or every other week but now I'm gonna take my money elsewhere. like this, hertz is a joke from some of the workers that will have a argument in front of customers manager talking about customers in front of other customers instead of helping his customer with they concern, you sit there and be unprofessional so now I'm looking at it if they could sit here and talk about this customer what they saying about me when I leave in every other customer the same customers that come here and spend their money with you. We are the same reason why you guys have a job. PS and now I'm coming back-and-forth to hertz's wasting my money that I spent for a rental just to keep coming back-and-forth to get turned around y'all don't answer the phones so why do y'all even have phone lines?

We picked up a rental car at the Rockford Regional Airport where Allegiant airlines fly into. We…read morepicked up our luggage and walked over to the Enterprise counter. There had to be thirty people already standing in line. No one from Enterprise made any announcement of what the problem was, nothing. It got to the point where a lady in front of us called her friend to be picked up. It took an hour for us to get to the counter! Rumors started in the line that there were no cars. I called my brother to give him a heads up that we may need to be picked up. Talk about stress! When we asked the lady at the counter if they were out of cars, she said that there were plenty of cars, that a couple workers called in sick and that Enterprise management were at a convention and there were no supervisors at the facility. We finally got our car over an hour after landing! Note - Rockford airport is a very small airport with maybe 5 - 10 flights per day. To make matters worse, Enterprise sent me multiple invoices totalling over $58.00 to date for Illinois tolls, most of the cost was 'service fees'. I had tried to pay the tolls online but even after adding the license number of the rental car to the Illinois tollway system, no tolls ever showed up. Looks like a scam to me. Does this happen in other states where the user cannot pay rental car tolls online? Looks like a scam to me. I will NEVER use Enterprise Car Rental again!

WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY EVER. This review has nothing to do with my local AVIS facility. This…read morehas everything to do with the company overall and how horrible my experience has been to date. I prepaid for a rental on 06/11/24 and had to cancel due to a family emergency on 06/18/24. After receiving my cancellation confirmation, I called AVIS customer service to inquire about when I would receive my refund. Was told 48 hours. When 48 hours came and went, I called AVIS customer service and inquired about my refund due to me. Was told 3-5 business days. 5 business days go by and no refund. Call for the THIRD time now (on a Thursday) and told I would receive my refund the following Tuesday. Tuesday (07/02/24) rolls around and no refund. Call again to find out what is going on and was told THERE IS NO RECORD OF MY REFUND DUE. So, I request an escalation and they have to send it to the refund department? Wow. Demanded I get a call back from a manager/supervisor and was told that call would be anywhere from 24-48 hours. Really? Takes that long to review after 4 calls and confirmations of my cancellation? WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY EVER. Do not use this company! Horrible customer service, keeping records, etc. If you do not want to get screwed or taken advantage of, NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

He only had a TORE UP Compact Ford Focus with stained seats, smelled horrible and it wouldn't accelerate in a timely manner. It dragged. It was a piece of trash. My family that saw the car were shocked. Several times the car almost stalled out on me. I am disabled with a very bad back and I had a hard time getting in and out of the car. Yet, I was charged for the Standard price. Beware!

We are currently in the market to rent a new house now and meeting with a leasing agent at a property tonight. Fingers crossed we can come back to Stateline because we never had to worry. We paid our rent easily through their portal and whenever we had a maintenance request, they got right on it. They always called to set up a maintenance time with us knowing I worked from home and I truly appreciated that! I see that there are quite a few bad reviews and for my family, we had nothing but a great experience with them. Don't always listen to what the internet tells you, there are 3 sides to every story.

Please refrain from renting from a company that does not mean your family well, and does shady…read morebusiness.. We were tenants for 3 years, and moved out recently. Great tenants. Paid regularly, even through the pandemic, upgraded the yard (the neighbors told us they haven't seen the yard look that nice in YEARS & thanked us for keeping it up.) When we moved out, we cleaned the place, took videos & pics for proof of everything. But after all of this.. The company kept our deposit & gave us extra charges for upgrading things in the house that were not broken when we moved out, and charged us for for things like the same blinds they had when we moved in.. No proof of receipts, no proof of damage, & no itemized list of anything! Just charges... We moved out 4 months ago, and I've been calling to speak to someone about this issue, and we are still getting the run around. Such a bad experience, and we feel very preyed on after everything. So please be very cautious when considering this company.
