I went to the counter for pickup and I was told there is not any cars available and I will have to wait till 5pm for a car. How is it possible for me to reserve online for a specific time and receive an email confirmation? Well the manager, Cameron Carter said that he had cars on the lot but they are being held for people who made reservations in advance. So the fact that I had an email confirmation meant nothing to him and I was dismissed as such and treated as irrelevant "because there systems do not communicate". Do NOT rent a car through this location, you will end up very distressed and stranded like my family and I.

Hertz DOES NOT CARE about leaving mothers with babies stranded at airports with no necessary safety for transportation. In October I reserved a full size sedan with a car seat as I would be travelling with my infant. When finally making it to the reservation counter I was informed that there were no car seats available. When asked what I was supposed to do about travel the person working informed me she would remove the $15 per day seat rental fee. Of course you would if you're not providing me with what I reserved! This still left me with no solution as to how I was supposed to get to a store with him to purchase a car seat. I ended up having to call a family member to drive half an hour, buy me a car seat, and bring it to the airport. In my opinion the employee should have checked with the other agencies and Hertz should have paid one of them to rent me a car seat. I was told "we are phasing out the old one's and buying new ones". Okay, why were the new seats not purchased before you got rid of the old ones? They at least had one new carseat after that weekend as I had no further use for the one I had to go spend $200 on! I have asked multiple times for management of literally any Hertz office to get in touch with me to no avail. Not even when I reached out to corporate. This is absolutely ridiculous that I have to leave this in hopes of getting someone's attention. Had I been notified even a day in advance that no seat would be available I would have just figured out a way to bring mine on the plane and there would have been no issue!

We picked up a rental car at the Rockford Regional Airport where Allegiant airlines fly into. We…read morepicked up our luggage and walked over to the Enterprise counter. There had to be thirty people already standing in line. No one from Enterprise made any announcement of what the problem was, nothing. It got to the point where a lady in front of us called her friend to be picked up. It took an hour for us to get to the counter! Rumors started in the line that there were no cars. I called my brother to give him a heads up that we may need to be picked up. Talk about stress! When we asked the lady at the counter if they were out of cars, she said that there were plenty of cars, that a couple workers called in sick and that Enterprise management were at a convention and there were no supervisors at the facility. We finally got our car over an hour after landing! Note - Rockford airport is a very small airport with maybe 5 - 10 flights per day. To make matters worse, Enterprise sent me multiple invoices totalling over $58.00 to date for Illinois tolls, most of the cost was 'service fees'. I had tried to pay the tolls online but even after adding the license number of the rental car to the Illinois tollway system, no tolls ever showed up. Looks like a scam to me. Does this happen in other states where the user cannot pay rental car tolls online? Looks like a scam to me. I will NEVER use Enterprise Car Rental again!
