We have been coming here for many films and events . In the main State Theater . The best popcorn around. Great cocktails . A fabulous staff . It's such a treat to come here . Today was a first for us . We came and saw a film at the Jewel Theater . Cool little theater . Comfy seats . Great afternoon out at our favorite Movie / Event theaters :)

Went to watch the Little Women (1994) screening and fell in love with the theater. Their concessions tasted amazing and the theater itself was mesmerizing. Will be returning soon, specifically to watch The Umbrellas of Cherbourg screening! Can't wait to go back!

A sweet memento from The State Theatre (made by Mocha Magic). Rydell High sweater cookie for the sing-a-long movie Grease!

Went with a group of friends to see The Sing-a-Long movie, Grease! It was so amazing! I wish I would have captured more of the ambiance, people were all decked out in costume, we were given props as we entered. Super fun and cute idea. The staff was very friendly, from the greeters to the concession stand. I only heard about it from a friend. When I looked online on the main website page it wasn't listed. Maybe word of mouth and their calendar that I didn't know about was enough, because it was almost a packed house. 5 out of 5 stars for me! Can't wait until next year! (If they had it again sooner, I would definitely go!)

Zombie Reviver!!! After 2 strong drinks this one felt calm but it kicked in after I was done

I had 3 drinks made by bartender Serena and they were excellent. Expresso Martini is her favorite. I asked her to make me the oddest drink she's made and it was a Zombie Reviver! Strongly recommended. Not alcohol forward but more of a refresher then the alcohol kicks in. I'll be going back for that one!!!

The food menu has some appetizers that go well with the cocktails. Ordered an old fashion and the big ice cube had a retro inspired design stamped on it. I guess I'm trying to say that little details all add up to make this place unique.

Intermission is the BEST. When Serena is here she makes sure we are always in tip top shape. The drinks she makes are divine! and she always puts a smile on our faces :) please go there and tip the absolute most for this bartender. love her to bits! shes superb!

Klimt museum of modern art film was fascinating and the adjacent Intermission cafe is beyond adorable! Great birthday outing for my friend and a beautiful day in downtown Modesto.

espresso martini. Cant go wrong.

At adjoining bar. The Vibe and best espresso martini in town. You can come in for pre movie and they will also meet you with a drink at theater. Order early and often.

Where can I view the food menu?

When I arrived, I went to the concession stand but the attendants were not helpful at all. They simply stood there without greeting or assisting customers, and no one informed me that I needed to place my order at the kiosk. It was confusing and unwelcoming. After finally getting into the theater and taking our seats, there was no audio when the movie started. I went out to notify a staff member, but he responded rudely, just saying "OK" and telling me to go back without any reassurance that the problem would be fixed. When I returned, the movie had already started, but there was still no sound. I had to go back a second time, and fortunately, another employee was more helpful. He used his radio to contact someone and assured me that the sound would be restored shortly--which it was when I got back. Unfortunately, the experience was still ruined because the side lights in the theater were left on for the entire movie, washing out the screen and making it difficult to see. It was extremely distracting and frustrating, especially since we were looking forward to watching this film. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously and address these issues with both your staff and management so that future guests don't have a similar experience. I would also appreciate a response about how this will be handled.

Incredibly uncomfortable!…read more My dad and I decided to switch up our routine and visit the Regal Turlock location since they had an earlier showing of the movie we wanted to watch (Crime 101). We had bought vouchers online at TicketsatWork for our tickets and snacks. When we presented them at the concession stand, the worker seemed to have never seen them before. She scanned the vouchers and added the items we requested to the system but was having trouble removing the cost of the items. She had to call over another coworker to instruct her on how to do it. Thankfully we arrived early, otherwise we would have likely missed the beginning of the movie because it took quite a while. After the second worker helped us, we were able to upgrade the voucher's small popcorn and drink to a large for only a few dollars. We noticed that this theater does not offer a self-serve butter machine. You have to tell the concessions worker that you want butter on your popcorn and hope that they will do it sufficiently. The theaters themselves are truly awful. I was expecting the seating to be like the other nearby Regal locations but was quickly disappointed. The seats here do not recline and are incredibly tiny. I have been on budget planes with more spacious and comfortable seats than this. They are cramped with no leg room at all. The backs of the chairs are short so if you are tall, your neck will just be flopping around. When the movie ended, they did not even raise the lights. They left the theater pitch black as the credits roll where they usually raise them so people can exit safely. I would say though that I appreciate them having security (although minimal). About a quarter of the way into the movie, a man with a orange cone flashlight came in, stood for a while, and left. I will not be coming back and will keep going to the Modesto location.

Highlights 1) Super Responsive 2) Reasonable Prices 3) Easy to do business with 4) Professional 5) Just plain nice I contacted X-Treme on a Wednesday to do an event - a Celebration of Life for my Father - on the following Sunday. I Know... kind of last minute, but the in-house AV person at our upscale event space waited until the last minute to give us a quote that was absolutely ridiculous in price, forcing us to scramble at the last minute. Responsive: When I called, Jeff - who was clearly busy with other things - answered my call and made me a priority, stepping outside so that we could communicate with out distraction. He understood my urgency, and even though he was away from the office initially, he still got me a quote promptly in less than 2 hours after I called. Reasonable Price: His quote was literally 1/3 the quote of the in-house AV dude. That translates to real money... literally thousands of dollars in savings over the other quote. Easy to do business with: All the convenience you would expect from a modern business.... a clear and easy to understand professional looking quote presented electronically. One click to accept the quote and easy online payment options, in addition to traditional options (for the boomers). Professional: On the day of the event he showed up even earlier than he agreed and was well into setting up when I got to the venue... and it was a good thing. He discovered that a piece of equipment had been damaged in transport, and the fact that he'd arrived so early gave him the option of driving to his warehouse to replace it, which he did without complaint. Like a true professional, he took responsibility and fixed the problem. His setup was organized and clutter free. Our setup included multiple screens and audio sources, and he labeled everything and coached us how to manage the equipment so that everything ran smoothly. It was flawless! Just Plain Nice: Jeff, and his assistant Leslie were kind and empathetic. I got the feeling that they understood the magnitude of our event and resolved to make sure that AV would not be a problem. Instead of feeling like they were just a vendor, I felt like they were part of my team.
