About 5 Weymouth Police came barging in the one male grabbing me extremely hard. They had a warrant for my ex stemming from the MY original charges I pressed against him for abuse. I had no problem speaking with them. They refused to show me any warrant or even explain why they were in my house. I am not a criminal I do not have a criminal history I obey the law I called the police over a year ago for help when I was brutally attacked by a man in my home and the first thing this Male officer did was aggressively put his hands on me. Totally disappointed in how flawed the system is. Serve and PROTECT. I do not feel I am safe or PROTECTED. They treated me as if I was not a human with feelings. I've always have been respectful and cooperative now I know why these public servants get the negative reviews that they do! I'm sorry if I this isn't written very well I am still extremely rattled by what just took place. I will come back to make some corrections later on. Just needed to express my opinion somewhere unfortunately it won't make any difference. Long story short they had a warrant for the ex I called the cops on over a year ago and they still have not produced any paper work saying they had the right to be on my house. My son and I have lived in fear bc of this man and the last time I did call for help the abuses wad let out I was punished by him for calling the police and again by the police who threatened to call DCF and treat me like the criminal not the victim. They have no clue what life has been like and for them to act in such an aggressive manner when it wasn't warranted adds to the trauma my son and I have been subjected to for years. Too many suffer in silence bc have treatment such as this by those who are meant to keep us safe. I called the police to keep me safe they removed the threat and they still reported to DCF and my son was removed from the house bc of the stay away order I placed to keep him away. The bad guy won again. Even from behind bars this man gets to control my life. Did I mention after the fact he was taken out of my home for domestic abuse the Weymouth Police proceeded to give this man a phone to call me while in their custody!!! I am disgusted and I have no idea who to call or what to do I just know this was handled completely wrong and innocent people including a child had to pay

"Yes officer, that car went X, and then Y, and then Z and then I called." "X, Y and then Z?" "Yes." "Thanks for the facts, and for calling it in and for hanging out and giving the eye witness." "No problem, just the facts." So there you have it. Complete mayhem, a dangerous scene, ambulances and hook and ladders, plus every yahoo recording the action on their cell phone and yelling "woot, woot!" while smoking blunts. But the PPD mopped everything up, saw to the safety of the peeps and got things back on track for the citizens. The bottom line is that the police did a great job managing a complete shitshow and I for one am better off for their competence.

Everyone I was finally able to speak to was miserable and clearly hated their jobs. I'm sorry I need to disturb you, but I am thankfully not familiar with the process after an accident, especially after a hit and run. It was really nice to feel like such a burden while also dealing with everything else. The officer who responded was ok, but everyone else made me dread ever having to call back. Unfortunately, I am not done dealing with them since I still need an accident report and their hours are limited to my work hours, so I have the pleasure of dealing with them again in the middle of my workday (and paying for it), I can't wait.

Cars, Trucks, DOT trucks, School Buses do not come to complete stop at intersections in School Zones and neighborhoods. Pedestrians and Elementary Students are at risk. Electric bikes and scooters do not obey traffic signals at all! Complaints go poorly responded to and not resolved!

The EP Police were able to make the kids birthday's memorable by doing a drive by with lights, sirens and happy birthday messages from the officers! I know they are very busy but both my husband and I along with our son thank them for helping us make some special birthday memories in an otherwise difficult time!

Recently, in the last year or so my son has told me about a cop friend of his, Officer Dan. (Will not say his last name fo obvious reasons). i asked him how he knows this officer and he told me that the officer has on several occasions given him a "cool kid patrol ride" after his school activities, typically him and friends play at the park until 630 or so (short distance from the house). Recently his behavior has been reclusive and tempered, when confronted stated "Officer Dan is not who I thought he was, and he no longer thinks of him as a hero as Dan would call himself. Should I escalate this?

Parts of this were trail but it was mostly paved roads and sidewalks. This event also has a 1/2 mile kids run before the 5k which was really cute to watch. Race started at 9 but you had to be there before 8 because they shut down the road for the kids race. Water, fruit and cupcakes were available at the end and there was a DJ playing music before and after. Well run and fun. I will do this event again! $20 dollar fee w/ T-shirt if you sign up by a certain date. This years event was held on 5/21/2011

My children and I had left Walmart and a man was standing right by my car smoking pot (I knew right away from the disgusting smell, and when I asked the man if he was smoking pot, he said yes. It was so infuriating because we all smelled like pot instantly, including in my car for a while). It appears there are still some "gray" areas in MA, which is so frustrating for those of us who have never had an interest in drugs, and try to teach our children NOT to do drugs... now I (and my children) smell it all the time in public areas! Thankfully, this police officer (a woman... I didn't get her name) was willing to help and she even said she'd have an officer go over to Walmart's parking lot since IT IS ILLEGAL to drive while intoxicated with pot... sadly (unlike alcohol) there's no test for it yet. I'll pray this man doesn't kill someone on the road tonight while DUI. A big THANK YOU to this Bellingham Police officer for taking her job seriously!
