Cinergy Dine-In Cinemas in Charlotte

Highland Creek

I recently visited Cinergy Dine-In Cinemas for the Devil Wears Prada 2 brunch experience, and it…read morewas a whole vibe from start to finish. They had a full brunch setup with eggs, French toast, donuts, bacon, orange juice, and coffee -- everything was fresh and well put together. On top of that, you can order additional food and drinks right from your seat, which definitely takes the experience up a notch. Customer service was phenomenal. Staff was attentive, welcoming, and ready to help from the moment we walked in. Check-in was smooth and easy since we already had tickets, and there were people there to assist every step of the way. The theater itself was clean, including the bathrooms, and the overall environment was very comfortable. You could hear the movie clearly, and the temperature was perfect -- not freezing like most theaters. Whether it's date night, girls' night, solo time, or a family outing, this is definitely a spot I'd recommend. 10/10 -- great experience all around.

Cinergy was my favorite movie theater, but I really have to question my choice right now. Going…read morehere on a Saturday night is not a good look, and it's not because of the movie goers, but because of the way the staff care for the theater, the food and the restrooms at night. The food which usually comes out within 15 to 20 minutes, took an hour and 25 minutes to arrive and the nachos were stale, this is unacceptable! And that was only after we had to inquire about the order. The restrooms were atrocious! Water, paper-towels , and toilet tissue was all over the place, as if the bathroom had not been checked or cleaned all day. And my chair was broke to boot! I spoke with Josh who is one of the supervisors on site, and he heard my concerns. He actually sent someone into the bathrooms to straighten them out, he wrote down the information for my broke seat so that it could be repaired, and he also gave me two movie passes to come back for better experience. Shout-out to Josh for being proactive, but everyone else needs to get on their game. I do have an Elite membership ay Cinergy, and I have never had an experience like this. This is also the weekend that the Michael Jackson movie and the Devil wears Prada movie is in theaters so I understand the crowd, but I will be checking to make sure they do better moving forward.

Movie Bistro - Charlotte - Reclining seats

Movie Bistro - Charlotte

Caught a $6 Tuesday screening of Lilo & Stitch at Cinemark (aka Movie Bistro in Charlotte), and it…read morewas honestly such a fun and seamless experience from start to finish. We bought our tickets online ahead of time--super quick, easy process, and we got to pick our seats in advance (huge bonus). I grew up loving this movie, so getting to relive it on the big screen as an adult felt like such a nostalgic treat. The parking lot was packed when we arrived (we love to see people show up!), but the check-in line moved quickly, most people had also purchased tickets ahead of time. We were hungry and decided to split a fried chicken wrap with fries, which came out to around $12. Pretty reasonable for theater food! Something that really stood out? This Cinemark serves craft beer. We didn't grab any drinks this time, but we definitely scoped out the menu for our next visit. We even saw folks walking around with giant 24 oz pours--respect. The theater itself was super comfortable. Reclining chairs, a great view of the screen even in a full house, and an overall cozy vibe. Our food was delivered to the theater, and we just picked it up from the side area without missing a minute of the movie. That convenience alone is a win. Watching Lilo & Stitch in that setting felt special without breaking the bank. We laughed, reminisced, and had a great time. Big shoutout to Cinemark for the smooth experience and that unbeatable $6 Tuesday deal. We'll definitely be back and next time, we're bringing friends (and trying the beer!).

Great facility. Shite management…read more Why would you claim to be a cinema bistro if you don't actually serve food? I waited on dinner because the theater said they had food, then had to sit through my movie hungry
