While on vacation my spouse was having severe back/shoulder and arm pain. He visited a chiropractor who recommended we see our primary and get a steroid injection when we get home, I decided to look for an urgent care in the area to see if they'd do this type of service so we didn't have to wait 5+ days and could finish out our vacation. I called Stat one as it had the best reviews in the area, I was told they could do the steroid shot and had their PA text me to arrange a time to meet at the office. Katie was great, we arranged to meet after both of us had finished lunch, she got my spouse in right away we discussed his symptoms and she gave him a steroid and anti inflammatory shot as well as sending in a steroid pack and muscle relaxers for him. This is better care than we get at our local urgent care in our town- we were highly impressed with the care here and recommend it to anyone who needs care while out of town we come down to Indian Rocks yearly as well as our entire family and if we ever needed care again we would totally be returning to this location! 1000/10! read more

This place was a godsend during our quick visit to Indian shores. We heard back quickly from the office and were seen within two hours. Have had a fever the past couple days and needed to be checked out by a doctor. I found this place online and emailed to make an appointment and got a response back almost immediately. I barely had to wait anytime at all, the doctor was super nice and made me feel very comfortable. It really only took 15 to 20 minutes to get to the verdict of having influenza. Quick, Friendly, Service. Trying to enjoy my time in Florida when I noticed a rash on my arm. I Wanted to get it taken care of immediately. I called Statone Urgent Care to see if they were open today and they answered on the first ring and told me to come right in. Got there, filled out the small amount of paperwork and was seen right away by Howard Hirschfield MSN-ARNP he was very courteous, thorough and caring. Thorough, professional nurse practitioners. Insurance not accepted, but you can paper file yourself later. My symptoms were respiratory / influenza and I tested positive for influenza. I was given appropriate prescriptions and advice and advised to return 2-3 days for lung recheck (no charge). Steve, nurse practitioner, even called 2 days later to check on me. Charge was $144, not out of line. Vacationing from the midwest. If I need urgent care again, I'd go back. read more

I travel weekly & had been fighting a respiratory infection for weeks. On Sat afternoon, after arriving back in town & faced with flying again Mon morning, I knew I needed to see a Professional. Most of the "Doc in the boxes" had closed already, but fortunately Stat One was still open. I left a message & my call was quickly returned. Once I completed the paperwork, I was immediately seen & quickly on my way to the pharmacy. Stat One doesn't accept insurance, but will provide the reimbursement documents necessary for you to file. My experience with Stat One Urgent Care was outstanding! Called at 8 PM and left a message asking if there were any appointments available, got a call back within 15 minutes and the doctor met me at the office 15 minutes later. After hours services are available by request. I highly recommend Stat One, he was great with my five year old who got an ear infection on vacation! Awesome place! Went on this morning with a nasty sore throat. I had zero waiting time (besides my paperwork) the place was very clean and free of clutter unlike most Dr offices. Steven was quick AND very through, answering questions and explained everything clearly. The price was surprisingly low as well. Once your an existing patients, they set a set low fee for each visit after as well! A clean office, nice staff that doesn't "push" unecessary tests or meds on you and affordable ?? I usually go to med express in largo if I need weekend medical care, but decided to try this out since it was closer. I filled out the 5 pages of patient paperwork only to read on the fifth page that they do not accept any insurance. My insurance covers urgent care with a reasonable copay, so I left, and went to med express. read more

This clinic advertises that it is open 24/7. When I called at 10PM, I got an answering machine. I was urged to leave a message and that "someone would return my call shortly." I drove to their location to save some time. One half hour later? No return call, and the clinic was closed. Went elsewhere. read more

Very reasonably priced and staff will see you right away. Last year I had a uti on the 4 the of July, called them and was seen within the hour and given proper meds. Exactly a year later another bad uti. Called and got right in to see arnp Howard. He took care of me immediately. Even answered my texts later. Was kind enough to return my calls when it was way after hours on a Saturday. Then called me on Sunday to ensure I was OK. This has got to be the best urgent care facility in Pinellas County. We called late on a Sunday afternoon and the doctor agreed to come in and meet us within 20 minutes. We were seen to immediately by an amazing PA, who took his time, was very thorough, and diagnosed my ear infection. I got a prescription and some discount coupons to use at cvs when we picked it up 30 minutes later. Great experience and a real God send as I was miserable with a very painful ear ache. This will be my go-to med center from now on. We paid $95 for the service which is more than fair considering it was late on a Sunday. I'm sure the bill from a hospital ER would have been considerably more, not to mention the wait time we probably would have been subject to also. All around five star experience. Thank you read more

I was visiting the area from out of town and had to visit the doctor for a staph infection that of course flared up in the middle of my vacation. I chose this place because of the great reviews online. I called the number ahead of time and the doctor answered right away and was at the office within 10 minutes. He was quick, thorough and super fair with office visit prices for those who have horrible health coverage (which I'm assuming is most of us these days). My 10 year old came down with a nasty case of pink eye (in BOTH EYES) at 9 p.m. on a Sunday night while we were vacationing in Clearwater. Called and left a message and received a call back within 10 minutes. Howard was extremely professional and nice. Though it was late by the time we got there, he took his time and did not rush us at all. A prescription was called in to a nearby CVS and my daughter was feeling better by the next afternoon and could enjoy our last day on vacation. Great service. Called ahead and was seen as soon as I walked in. If you're sick last thing you want to do is wait for 2 hours and then wait again for 45min in an empty room. Dr Hirschfield was very nice and listened to me attentively. Overall very convenient and will be back. While on vacation my husband developed an upper respiratory infection. Rather than wait 3 days when we would be home, we went to stat one. Great decision. Went at 8:15 am on a sunday, 15 mins before they officially open, and were pleased to see dr. Hershfield waiting for us. He quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered prescriptions at the local walgreens and my husband was happy. No waiting for hours in a room filled with sick people. Dr. was very personable and professional. Provided with paperwork for my insurance company and paid a very reasonable $95. Future visits are $60 i believe. read more
