I was in Florida for a work conference last week and extended my trip for a short vacation in the area. Unfortunately, I ended up having a pretty severe allergic reaction to the oak pollen and found myself unable to breathe, with extremely severe congestion and my throat basically closing up anytime I tried to eat. I visited the Pasadena Urgent Care at 7217 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach, FL, where I saw Dr. Michael E. Murray. It was a few hours away from the time my flight back to Texas was scheduled, and Dr. Murray did a phenomenal job of quickly diagnosing me and sending my prescriptions to a local Publix that was on my route to the airport. They were out of injectable steroids in the office, so I was prescribed three meds. Diagnosis was quick, but I already knew what it was, so I appreciated how efficiently this office operated to ensure I was able to make my flight. I was absolutely miserable on my flight home, but after 24 hours on the meds, I'm already feeling remarkably better. They asked that I call in a few days to let them know how I'm feeling, and it really did seem like they genuinely were invested in me feeling better. Thank you so much! One thing to note - they do not accept insurance so you will need to separately submit. I paid $150 out of pocket, but they gave me all the paper to send to my insurance for reimbursement. read more

They do not take insurance. You pay cash/credit after your appt with the doctor ($150) then submit the receipt to your insurance. I understand why this location has a high rating. The staff is warm, kind welcoming, most helpful when one is in a lot of pain. I came here for an inflamed thyroid. A steroid shot did the job. I was very hesitant to stay once I walked in, it was like walking into someone's home, kitchy. The doctor was wearing washed out black stained pants, a little unkept yet he was smart, listened and able to help. They do not allow Covid patients so I felt safe. If you have severe issues I recommend going to a larger facility that can so X-rays and blood work ie BayCare or St Anthony's. read more

Not having insurance can sometimes be very challenging. You pick and choose when you should go to the doctor. When I found this place I felt like I found home. Margie at the front desk, is amazing! She's not only a sweetheart but genuinely cares. Doctor Murry has always done a fantastic job! He has become my primary physician. Their cost is extremely reasonable and their care is Spectacular. I have recommended them to several friends and they can't say enough about to be either. I am in the tourist business and I have recommended Guests go to them as well. They have and no one has ever been disappointed. They are hands-on from beginning to end. Contacting you at home to make sure you're doing OK. Margie at the front desk is just fantastic, always friendly and can't do enough for you. She has even called after hours to check up on us. Dr. Murray and Margie took wonderful care of me this month when I came down with a horrible Upper Respiratory Infection. Not only was the wait in his office short, he is a compassionate and caring doctor. He made sure I had the meds I needed to recover and even filled the prescriptions right on site so I did not have to go wait at a pharmacy as I coughed and felt like death warmed over. They asked that I call in a couple days to report back and when I wasn't 100% then they asked if I'd call back when I finished my antibiotics so they could make sure I was back to normal. I went to Pasadena Urgent Care for the first time. It was a Sunday and I walked in, only one there and was seen by Dr. Murray within 15 minutes. What a gem of a physician he is. They don't take Medicare! Yes, you read that right. They tell you that to be seen you have to pay $125 up front and then file with Medicare yourself to get reimbursed. I went to BayCare down the road. They take Medicare and we're much more professional and caring. If you are over 65, be forewarned. read more

Just left this office! Had trouble hearing out of my right ear, so I decided to come here. The staff at the front were very nice and friendly.
