    Sad lettuce, tons of ketchup
    Francesca G.

I needed some comfort food so decided to order a veggie burger and fries from Starvin' Joe off deliveroo. Lately, I've had some really good luck finding good burgers, so was excited. Unfortunately, this was far from the best burger I've had in Paris. Maybe one of the worst. The patty was quite dry and tasted very processed, there was a ton of ketchup, the cheese was really plastic-like, the bun was super average, and there were like 4 shreds of iceberg lettuce and one tiny piece of pickle that I found in the last bite. Really not generous with the toppings, which is weird because they cost next to nothing! Also, I think that a burger should come with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onions at the bare minimum, but here you have to pay if you want tomatoes. I get paying for avocado or cheese..but tomatoes? Not cool. The fries were ok, would be good if you got them in store and they were hot, but that's the price you pay for getting it delivered I guess. It wasn't terrible, hence the second star, but definitely not worthy of a third. I would not order here again. There are so many burger places in Paris that are so generous with toppings, fluffy bread, and have inventive sauces (like Roomies, my new fave place) that I wouldn't recommend anyone else waste their time here either. A veggie burger combo with fries was 12 euros.

Great burgers! Good options! Good sauce! Good bacon! Friendly staff! (With better fries it would be worth the 5 stars)

After a long walk through the shops of Bastille, our feet got tired, and craved a good burger. Mapped out "best burger in town" and this spot popped up, with the label on the door reading "The Best Burger in Town". Pierre hooked it up with some good service. They had an English menu available via QR code... thank goodness. My hubs had the Clakos Burger, this month special served with Camembert Au Lait Cru, some good ass cheese from Normandy. It takes a lot to get to the depth of my husbands belly and make him smile after a good meal, but this burger had him pleased. Few good pointers from him: loved the red bell peppers in it, the bread was so soft and fresh, the meat was flavorful, and the cheese was outstanding. My son had a plain cheeseburger-- his points were: the meat was so good, and flavorful all around. A 5 out of 5 coming from a 7 year old. I had the chicken nuggets. 6 pcs for 7€. Not to shabby, and they served it with a choice of barbecue sauce and or sweet and sour sauce. Yum. This location was small, and easy to miss. Just look for a small door and window. The size of a hallway, there are four tables with comfortable seating inside. And a hand wash sink up at the front from All the burger juice that will drip down your hands as you devour. We learned they have 4 locations, one owner, and the bread is cooked fresh daily. Definitely will be back on our next trip!
