Even more questionable is the payment setup: cash or cash-style payments only (like Venmo to a personal account). Draw your own conclusions about the level of professionalism and transparency there. She is compassionate, relatable, and understanding yet will effectively confront issues head on and challenge your old ways of thinking. I found Karina after deciding talk therapy wasn't working and wanted to try a more active approach. The first thing I noticed was that she was extremely perceptive and just by talking to me and observing my behaviors pointed out problematic thoughts and actions right off the bat that no one else has ever bothered to notice. These included obsessive behaviors and hoarding tendencies. We worked together to find constructive ways of changing behaviors using CBT.
