The ice cubes were made of coffee. We started with a plate of fresh fruit. My husband got their red chilaquiles with chicken, and I had the breakfast burrito. Both were flavorful and filling. This is the place I have been able to sit down in the cool shade of the garden, sip coffee or cool orange soda, while writing the first chapters of my book. I've been to several coffee shops in Bucerias, but this is my favorite. It is the best writing space I have found in town. The coffee is less than a buck and refills are free. There are a few cats who will enjoy the garden area with you and sleep on chairs. The garden is shared with Casa Tranquila budget hotel, and Patricia's hospitality made me feel most welcome.
