Nice small coffee place. Lizy is nice and makes a good late with regular, storing or decaf organic coffee.

The history of this place is truly some thing from a story book. For real, a short movie was once made about the owner's journey sailing here from Europe on a boat they made themselves out of mostly scrap material. Truly a unique experience run by amazing people who crafted this place with their own hands. I stayed in the "treehouse room" upstairs. The room has literally been built around a tree. There is another tree growing through my bathroom. So beautiful. I love this place! I am a yoga teacher as well so waking up to walk just a few steps to the large yoga studio for classes in the morning was the best! I believe they also offer arial classes and there are silks hanging from the ceiling. If you are a nature lover, &/or body mover, this is your place. Say hello to Scampi their sweet dog & a few random kitties perched lazily on the roof area. Music in the evenings from the Treehouse music venue next door gives it an evening liveliness (that usually ends by 10p;). Seriously, I sort of wish I could just live here!

French music throughout the space on the patio and indoors, and the menu has choices of sweet or savory crepes, & as well, desserts. The staff is friendly and attentive without hovering; although I wish they had given us a little direction with items on the menu (perhaps some recommendations or popular choices?)... I had the Provençal and husband had the Mexican. Both were very tasty, but I preferred mine due to the fresh ingredients and attention to detail with lovely garnishes. It's a little pricey, but the atmosphere is chic and trendy and in my opinion worth a stop in for a late lunch or early dinner option.

However, in the past two attempts to eat here, the location was unexpectedly closed - with no notice to patrons. The first was a couple of years ago during Easter weekend. The location was closed without any signage out front or here on Yelp. The second was this past week. We attempted to go on Wednesday, and they were unexpectedly closed AGAIN with no signage to patrons. When I called, they said they were closed on an "exception" day. Bottom line - check with the business BEFORE you make plans to dine or show up here because it's very possible they may unexpectedly be closed. But once you're there you won't regret it.

A friend had business on the North side coast of Nayarit and this was on the way. About 40 min North of Puerto Vallarta proper. How convenient! Now I'm not sure what when or how owner Maria Gomez Guerrero learned how to make ice cream when she was only 13, but like the many amazing and talented artists we have seen knock it out of the park in our lifetime, she is a true impresario. Maria manages to entertain and amaze our tastebuds with her Vegan Ice Cream made from real fruits, nuts, chocolate, vegetables, spices. It's all here. Cones, smoothies, sundaes and other frozen treats. Not sure what the base is made of but it's better than traditional ice cream for sure. Changing her health and lifestyle was motivation for drive to re create ice creams of her childhood yet make them plant based. And we all know the options have been limited even while traveling. We sampled the Mexican Chocolate, Strawberry and Coconut flavors. Seasonal this Summer is Pistachio. The only way to describe the flavor and texture of this ice cream is - stupendous! Over the moon frozen joy. Smooth, flavorful, authentic and not chalky. There really is no bad choice here. Tucked away on a busy little Avenida, locals and tourists come to this spotless hangout to cool down and enjoy the true tastes of summer. Next time you visit Vallarta, find your way to this little bit of Paradice in the sun! Just amazing. Will be back.
