You can't go wrong with anything you order here. I've had the ice cream, popsicle and horchata and loved all of them. ICE CREAM: Rich flavors great texture and only 30 pesos for a single scoop. I would recommend getting Coconut ice cream or the Strawberry Sorbet. POPCICLES: If you love fruity popsicles this is your store! The fruity popsicles are 20 pesos and the creamy ones are 25. I personally liked the fruity ones better and if you plan on getting a creamy it taste similar enough to the ice cream. For the fruity popsicles I would recommend the Strawberry or the Guava. HORCHATA: Just the right mixture of milk and cinnamon you won't be disappointed as it doesn't taste watered down like many place. For a small horchata it's 15 and for a large it's 20. read more

I wanted to like it more. Mango tasted slightly fake or mixed with sugar and orange to enhance the flavor. Cappuccino paleta was nice for a bit but was too sugary and couldn't finish more than half. I ate beautifully in Sayulita, and one of my only regrets from my trip is that I only stopped once for paletas. My friends and I happened upon Wa Kika walking to the beach after dinner, and I don't think we could've asked for a better dessert to complement our meal. The place was cheerful and charming and hard to miss, a large covered space with ice cream cases and some standing room to enjoy the frozen treats. There were a couple of people working behind the counter, and they were friendly and efficient. Both popsicles and ice cream were on offer, but most of us opted for popsicles--I certainly couldn't resist one of those. There were paletas with and without cream, and I decided I felt like some dairy. I got a yogurt popsicle, which was really good, tangy and milky and not too sweet. I also tried some of my friends' passionfruit and mango popsicles, and both were great. The passionfruit had a lovely crunch of seeds, the mango real hunks of mango; just loads of fresh fruit flavor. Sayulita was swelteringly hot the entire time we were there, and there were plenty of times I could've gone for another paleta. Too bad Wa Kika wasn't always right there when I needed it, but I am glad we got to go once. Those popsicles really hit the spot. read more

This place made my day, and vacation, particularly memorable. Nestled neatly in the middle of town, this place makes ice cold Aguas frescas, paletas (Popsicles), and their own ice cream - and these all come in a variety of familiar flavors and some that arent. To be honest, there were probably 20-30 flavors of Popsicles both juice and creme based, all with a variety of combinations. Some examples: watermelon parsley, guayabana, mint strawberry, mango chili, hibiscus tea, coconut, Nutela, strawberry with creme, pineapple, jackfruit, and other seasonal fruits and flavors. The ice cream itself (I tried the jackfruit) wasn't as smooth as Gelato but definitely tasty, and amazing on a cone. For God's sake, we went before and after dinner just to try more. And the place is consistently crowded. If you're in Sayulita you're in luck. Come here and cool off daily after a dip at the beach. It's pretty damn good. I only wish Mitchells and Bi-Rite in SF or Fentons in Oakland would venture out and make these sort of flavors in Popsicles - I'd be there every day. read more

They serve good but ordinary Mexican ice cream, but are noteworthy for two additional nice things. First, they also have a beautifully chromatic array of paletas for those inclined in a popsicle direction. Second, if you do get ice cream, they make the waffle cones fresh with a waffle iron right behind the counter. Indeed, I threw out most of my ice cream to save room for the cone. read more

They have two locations that are both very clean and modern looking. They have a plethora of options and will chocolate dip Popsicles as well. The coffee ice cream is what I had and it was great. I tried: - Basil with pineapple chunks - Guava - Chocolate - Passion fruit - Mango - Vanilla with chocolate + coconut - Coconut - Watermelon My favorite was the basil with pineapple. Such unique flavor combination! The frozen chunks of pineapples were surprisingly delicious. I thought the texture would be a bit hard but it was perfectly crunchy/chewy + a sweet contrast to the basil. Runner ups are the coconut and passion fruit.
