Called and booked an estimate. The Father/Son arrived on schedule. The son walked through the…read moremeasurements while the father lacked professionalism. He stayed in his white truck blocking my neighbors access. When he arrived, I noticed that his truck was oversized. I moved my recycling trash bin to accommodate his truck. He didn't re-park. He didn't step out and introduce himself. He didn't roll down the window and say hi. I didn't mention anything to his son, because it's important to establish contractor communication skills prior to signing contract. I already know that if I have to complain before the contract is signed, then it will be a struggle to get the work done correctly or at the agreed-upon price. It's important to give a contractor every opportunity to do the right thing and to see how they execute simple customer service tasks. I was promised an estimate by Tuesday, 27 May but nothing has arrived in the agreed-upon email account. I inquired about the quote on text and nothing. I verified that nothing was accidentally sent to spam and nothing. It is now 8 PM on Saturday, May 31. Unfortunately, I can't trust Signature Touch Landscape to present common courtesy to me or my neighborhood.

So right outta the gate I had a great first impression. After an appointment over the phone mike showed up to physically take a look at my garbage back yard. I was embarrassed cuz I had already tried to take a run at the job but failed. But AGAIN mike was polite and didn't make me feel bad about the job that I'm sure I did wrong. His bid was a bit higher then his competition, but in my experience you get what you pay for. I went with his quote and my wife and I did not regret it. He got the job done as promised and he stuck to his time line too! Over all I'm Very impressed. Mike and his team were worth ever cent! I called Landscape…read moreConnection to install a new outdoor landscape drain for my front yard because my old drain was clogged and I didn't want to be flooded. I met with them in the beginning of December 2025 and hired them for the job. They had me sign a contract, which I did on 12/9/25. At no time did they mention they were backed up and couldn't start my project immediately. When I asked them when they would start, their representative said due to the holidays and weather, they couldn't start for a few weeks. I needed the new drain so we wouldn't flood, so having the drain installed after "the weather" kind of defeats the purpose of the new drain. Since I already signed their contract, I couldn't hire anybody else (I had other bids for the job). I decided to be understanding and went along with it. Their representative Kennith told me they had me scheduled for 1/15/26, which is over a month after the contract was signed. On 1/12/26, I texted them to confirm their 1/15/26 date. I didn't get a reply until the next day, 1/13/26, that they need to reschedule again for whatever reason. We were now rescheduled for 1/22/26. On 1/21/26, their project manager Franky texted me saying "Just wanted to let you know that we will be starting tomorrow morning on your drainage. Arrival time should be from 7am-7:30am." I'm not a morning person but I made sure I was up and ready for the crew to arrive. Crickets. At 7:33am, after their window of arrival, I texted their project manager to let him know I moved the car out of the way and thus far, nobody has showed up. I didn't get a response until after 8am that they didn't get a confirmation from me and didn't want to just show up. The project manager said he needed to make sure he had the right number. Then he suggested he would start my project tomorrow. We were already scheduled for today, 1/22/26. There was nothing in the project manager's text that suggested a confirmation was required. His text was to "let me know" they were starting today 1/22/26 and the arrival time. If he needed a confirmation, he should have asked for one in the body of his text. Or he could have called if he wasn't sure he had the right number and/or needed further confirmation. He could have talked to Kennith, their representative. Kennith has both my number and email. It just sounds like a bunch of excuses. They bound me to their contract but they weren't ready to perform. I called both the project manager and their representative Kennith, but neither gave me the courtesy of answering their phone. I left a pretty irate message to both of them advising them that I expect a crew to show up today, as scheduled. Kennith texted me and said based on my message, they don't feel my project is a good fit. This company is not reliable. They will get you to sign a contract and then string you along. When you demand they hold up their end of the bargain, they will drop you. Horrible experience.

He took my simple boring plan and helped me to see what my space could be. My plans would have made it the same boring that I was previously doing on my own. Joseph was also able to fix my concerns about always having a lot of maintenance and having to fidget with sprinklers all the time. He put in a retaining wall and built flower beds with drip irrigation. He walked the nursery to help me pick the plants I wanted and some I didn't even know I wanted; I really love them all now.
