Trust me now and believe me later, the crew is nothing short of extraordinary. Professional, punctual, and courteous from the start, they provided world class service that can't be beat. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I gave them a poor review on their Porterville business. I am leaving one here as well. I switched from 1 star to 5 star because after I left a poor review they fixed the problem. They only put bandaids on problems. I would recommend to go anywhere else. Once again, they did the same thing as before. Did a job with half-effort, and then would not come and fix the problem with my landscaping. They would not come fix grass issues (left rocks and concrete under. They would not adjust the sprinklers that is wasting water, hitting my fence and concrete. They gave me advice that killed my lawn, cutting too short because didn't put the proper height of sprinklers. They no call, no show; if they even answer the phone. They never show up on time. The work is sloppy. Now I'm spending more money to fix their sloppy and poor work.

Larry Nelms and his crews are awesome. They poured about 12 yards of concrete in my back and side…read moreyards and also landscaped with plants, mulch, and irrigation around my entire back yard. It was very reasonably priced and looks great. After explaining that I've always had trouble getting enough water to some dying Redwood trees, he recommended and installed Netafim drip. I was skeptical as I'd tried various drip and other types of irrigation and a few of the trees were still dying and I was sure they were goners. He assured me it would work. Fast forward a couple months and the trees are thriving. He was 100% right about what to do and Netafim was the perfect solution. I'm so grateful to not lose those trees. Part of the back yard project included moving some sprinkler valves from the back/side to the front so the whole side yard could be poured and look clean. The crew accidentally cut my pool fill line as it was buried with the sprinkler valves. This wasn't discovered by me until weeks after the concrete was poured. After letting Larry know, he came out personally with a team of guys, cleanly cut a patch of concrete above the cut, repaired the line, and repaired the concrete. No hassle whatsoever. Larry is easy to work with and I'd recommend his services to anyone. Thanks Larry!

I hired Carlos Hernandez to fix a sprinkler system leak in the front yard and check for leaks in…read morethe back yard. From the very beginning I informed that this was a rental property that my sister and I have recently inherited from our late mother. I explained that his company was recommended to us by the Property Management Company we use for this property, and that while my sister lives in town, I live 160 miles away and am in charge of arranging repairs and maintenance. His fee for the repairs was reasonable and he was quick to do the repairs. He received payment in full two weeks before the 30 day due date. So far So Good, Right? Wrong. I also explained to Carlos that we were on a very tight budget right now - the sprinklers are old and need to be replaced - we just cannot afford to do that right now. I asked him if he would provide front and back yard care once a week, including hand watering the lawn, until we are able to get the property rented. He quoted me a monthly rate of $100.00 and understood that this was a temporary situation. He said he would be happy to start the first week of July 2012. THAT was the last I ever heard from him. I emailed him on 7/09/2012 and also called him to check in and see how things were going. He has not returned ANY of my email messages or my phone calls. The next week, my sister arrived at the property to find our front lawn dead, and a large, thriving Lilac bush, and a small, struggling Dogwood Tree in the front entry planter completely dead. Until this happened, I was willing to give him 5 stars on yelp. Unfortunately, Carlos Hernandez, Owner of Advanced Landscape Management in Visalia, CA IS NOT someone I can recommend. All he had to do is call me back, explain that he could not provide the service after all, and I could have easily found someone else to do the job. Because he did not do the right and professional thing, we now have even more expenses to incur before we will be able to rent this property.
