If you order both, they actually do NOT combine them as I thought. It would be 2 separate drinks for $13 and you can get a stamp card started. I thought 2 drinks was a little much for me so I opted for 2 of their smoothies. The mango tango for my hubby and the almond heaven for myself. WOW! I am blown away by the taste, it taste so healthy! She also explained most of the smoothies were under 200 cal. The almond was creamy, with almond bits, and wasn't overly iced like most smoothies. I would definitely come back!

YUM! I can't wait to come back and try literally their entire menu. It's almost like they created a…read moremenu that is completely catered to my taste buds. It's got all the things that make my mind go 'ding!' when I see it. Words like: ricotta, smoked salmon, avocado, eggs. All words that make me take a second look. I had come because I saw they had an egg salad toast, (I am an egg salad fiend!) but there were so many yummy options, it was a difficult decision. I ended up ordering the smoked salmon toast, which had cream cheese, cucumbers, amazingly high quality smoked salmon, capers, pickled shallots, and it was supposed to have microgreens, but they were out so, they put avocado on top on levain bread. It was seriously delicious. So fresh and high quality, portioned perfectly for lunch. As I get older, I kinda just want a well-portioned lunch that's healthy. I love my greasy heavy options every once in a while, but for 'everyday fare' - you want something that is good, high quality and doesn't weigh you down. This is perfect for that! With everything so expensive nowadays, I'd rather pay a decent price for something high quality and well portioned... there's so much mediocrity out there, it makes me tired thinking I have to pay $20 for lunch nowadays and it's not even that good. ... Might as well stay home and heat up a trader joe's frozen meal. :P But sometimes, I don't wanna do that! So for those days, I guess I'll be coming here to try another menu item. Plus, the cafe is cute, and a place you want to sit in and eat your food, making it comfy. And I like comfy! I need comfy, nowadays. Glad I found this hidden gem! Also, the owner is super nice, and clearly cares about his food. And that counts for a lot!

They have lots of great non-dairy/vegan options for drinks, some snacks, and a whole case of canned beverages (if you don't want a prepared drink) that include Yerba Mates (including my favorite, Berry Lemonade), and a nice variety of Izze's which are perfect for my kid (carbonated juice, no added sugars). (See pictures.) So far, I've been happy with every drink I've tried, including a Japanese dark tea "Hojicha" (I tried it with almond milk), a beautiful green "Matcha" (I tried it with organic soy milk), and the delightfully fruity and refreshing "Rainbow Paradise Refresher." Tip: Let them know if you prefer it less sweet (like I do), or sweeter. They will adjust the sweetness to your liking. Oh yes, and both people I've encountered here are extremely nice. Another tip: Go for a larger drink size. When I got a small, I wished I'd gotten a large. Also, be sure to ask for a punch card if you plan to be a returning customer. I found out on my second visit, and they were kind enough to punch me for the day before. The beautiful blue color in some of the drinks is from Butterfly Pea (a type of flower) Tea. Very interesting! They don't have a bathroom or a place to sit inside, so it's really just a grab-and-go place, whether you're walking down Mendocino Avenue, or picking up your kid from the computer lab next door or the high school, or you attend SRJC and want a unique drink break. They do have a small table and chairs out front if you want a sit-down with your beautiful beverage. Other things to check out close by include the car wash right next door (dirty cars go in, beautifully clean cars come out), Goji Kitchen (Asian fusion restaurant that's an absolute favorite, including vegan options), Ike's Sandwiches (have you seen their giant wall menu? Amazing options, including vegan), and if you don't know about the semi-hidden Ridgeway Swim Center just down Ridgeway across the street, you gotta check that out -- fun stuff! In summary, when you're in this area, definitely check out the brand new Peak Coffee in the little shopping center at 1206 Mendocino Ave, right across from Santa Rosa High School. There are so many lovely drink options to try here, I'll definitely be back.
