My daughter broke her leg at the end of October and needed surgery to repair it. To say she was devastated is an understatement. She was so looking forward to the Christmas Show that her dance studio, Diamond Talent Productions does every year. She was also getting close to getting point shoes. She has worked so hard at dance this year. she has continued to go to rehersals and practice, watching her friends and company prepare and practice. Bryan and Melinda(owners) have been so supporting and showing their love to Lexi. Today this happened (see pictures below) A complete surprise. As I sit here and write this, my eyes are watering. The love each of these girls and boys have shown Lexi over the last 6 weeks have helped her so much. Thank you, Diamond Talent. The do their best to provide a PPC environment for children that are "at risk". This is not an easy job to do. Red Rock does a great job at it! When my son was "placed" in treatment and I didn't know what to expect. What I found was a enriching environment. They provide PPC or Positive Peer Culture, Therapy, Independent Studies, Art, Dance, Music and much much more. The core staff is dedicated, hard working and loving. Overall, they take a not so good situation and make it better. If Red Rock was not in my life, my son could be down a very bad road. I am not willing to think of what I would have done without them

We are from LA and regularly see touring companies there and have seen musicals in New York, Chicago and other major cities and this is absolutely on par with them. We saw the Little Mermaid, which was incredible. Singing and dancing were wonderful. Everything was great. They flooded the stage with running water. They had fireworks. They had a huge ship and a castle. The one note is this is an outdoor theater and it was 95 degrees at 10:00pm. We weren't prepared for that level of heat. Lots of people had mini fans and misters which we wish we had. If you aren't a local prepare for the climate!

Shelia, if you are listening to this, I hope you rot in hell. You are the reason I am in therapy every week. You are the reason I grew up believing I was never going to be enough. You are the reason I went home and cried every week, with my mom being helpless as you never responded at her frequent emails and texts to meet up and have a chat about how me and many other girls at the studio were treated. I will never forget the time you yelled and me and a whole class of girls as we cheered on our fellow dancers, and cheering is not "mature" as you mocked us through your microphone in front of the whole studio at our end of year performance. I will never forget how you told my mom that I needed to learn how to stand up for myself and suck it up when I was bullied by another dancer for years, with no retribution at all coming to that dancer. Please do not send your children here unless you want to give them unhealthy mindsets and unrealistic expectations, as well as lasting mental health problems and diagnosed PTSD.

For me, this has not been a good experience. They consistently start late and when I am paying for 30 minute classes it really adds up. At least three times they started 10 minutes or more late. Also if you want to watch your child practice upstairs through the viewing area, there is a small 4 x 3 window where you can fight with a dozen other parents for position to see out. It is abundantly clear that this facility was not built to be a dance studio, it is a very old movie theater. When the kids actually are in practice, even that time is not well spent. There is far too much time spent sitting in a circle or talking, or doing costume changes. As you can imagine with three-year-olds, there's going to be a number of times as well where individual Time is needed with each kid and that also distracts from the class time. So to recap, my three-year-old has enjoyed her experience but I have not. Her last dance class started 10 minutes late and they spent half the time watching the big kids dance. It look like she had a good time but if I needed her distracted I could've just put her in front of the tv.

When I initially got the job I was supposed to be teaching art to the older kids, but instead at the very last minute was put in the baby room. Which if that was their plan then they should've been more up front when hiring me. It just shows that Kathie lacks integrity. While working there I noticed a few things 1. Kathie will put her kids above anyone else's. Her 8 year old daughter often goes to the daycare and is often rude and disrespectful. I noticed during lunch Kathie purposely would ignore other kids who were asking for extra food, and instead give it to her kid who wasn't even asking for anything extra. 2. They will leave you in a room by yourself to care for many babies at once! It's nearly impossible to be able to keep up with feeding, nap time, and diaper changing. Most of the time I have to care for 2 little babies and 4 toddlers. Which can be a lot when you don't have a place to set down the babies. She also lied to me when I decided to quit and didn't pay me for my last shift working there! There is so much more that happened but overall it's just not a healthy place to send your kids. I do have respect for some of the staff there, but with Kathie as the administrator it's not a very good environment for anyone. I would not recommend sending your kids there or working there. It's a place that I don't see getting any better as long as Kathie is the administrator.

Again. Last November it was out for nearly a month. Same laminated sign. Same vague timeline. Same "maintenance" fog where accountability should be. Let's be clear: this is the only steam room in Washington County. If there were another option, I'd already be gone. The only reason I maintain this membership is access to that amenity -- the one advertised, promoted, and built into the monthly fee. A membership is a transaction. I pay. You provide what you advertise. Since this location can't seem to keep a core amenity operational, maybe it's time the people at the top hear about it directly. VASA is backed by private equity firm Silver Oak Services Partners, and led by CEO Rich Nelsen. When a company scales across multiple states and markets premium amenities, operational consistency isn't optional -- it's the business model. If the steam room is going to be chronically unreliable, say that plainly. Don't market it as a feature if it's a recurring casualty of "maintenance." Members shouldn't have to escalate basic facility upkeep beyond the front desk. But when a pattern repeats, escalation becomes reasonable. Fix it. Maintain it. Or adjust the membership pricing and advertising to reflect reality. Right now, it feels like we're paying for a promise that keeps evaporating. And steam, at the very least, should show up.
