Their office is a lovely old house in downtown Flagstaff. They have a comfy waiting room and a shelf full of books for clients to borrow. The exam rooms are homy and comfortable. She helped my husband and I so much in learning more about how our baby is growing, what the L&D process would look like, and providing tools and resources to help us in preparing and forming a birth plan fit for our family. We hired Kyla as our midwife and had a home-birth. Without writing out my whole birth story I will just say that both my husband and I felt beyond supported for the over 48 hours I was in early/active labor, pushing, and getting baby measured and the house tidied afterwards. We are one week postpartum now and love having someone to reach out to with questions as they come up has been so comforting. We love doing our postpartum check ups at home and value that Kyla can check on baby instead of dragging them out of the house so tiny. Then tried to get in touch with a dr for an issue on a Friday early afternoon and told by their service that they don't return calls. While the nurse I saw was great, all the other issues mean I once again need to find a new dr. To not be able to reach a dr if you're having an issue because the office is closed is absurd. I've never experienced that before.
