All the staff were very kind and polite. The X-Ray tech and the Podiatrist Dr. Daniel Basalely were very professional and outstanding. They both explained the process and procedure through the visit. I could not ask for better care. RS read more

Recently merged with Curalta Foot and Ankle. This one newly located at Pennsylvania Avenue, Brooklyn. I made an appointment online to see Dr Levy. I received confirmation and scanned my insurance card information. Received a text to check in online the day before my appointment. When I arrived to the office for my appointment I was told that the doctor is not in. I traveled to the heavily congested area for nothing. No apologies from the front desk staff. All they did was stress to me that they called all the patients who had appointments with Dr Levy to let them know not to come. And told them you did not call me. They said my phone's voicemail was full. I told them that my voicemail is never full, as I delete all my voicemails right after listening to them. When I got outside, just to give them the benefit of the doubt, I had my husband call me and I didn't answer my phone. He was able to leave a voicemail. I will never step foot in this facility again. My mom, Mr brother, and my co worker are regular patients at this establishment. I will be letting them know what I went through today. All the staff had to do was apologize. I would have just made a future appointment. Instead they chose to blame a bad situation that was their error on me. read more

I saw my PCP, Dr. Kurr, yesterday at BMS via Telehealth and was referred to Starret. I called them and was able to get an appointment and a cortisone shot for my heel spur all in the same day. I'm truly thankful that they were able to fit me in on such short notice! read more

I went to this clinic, for the last time, about a year ago. My experience made me feel bad enough that I vowed to never return. Firstly, I was in the examination room waiting to be seen. About 15 minutes later Dr. Brian Levy walks in, and right behind him, a tech or his assistant, walks in as well. She looked to still be a student, with a pen and notepad in hand. I asked him if it would be possible to just have her step out for the remainder of my visit, as I did not feel comfortable being treated as a subject and wanted to keep my foot condition private; simply between doctor and patient. He then told me that that would not be possible and that she had every right to be in the room with him. And that it was not his problem if I felt uncomfortable. He said this to me in a very nasty tone of voice and refused to ask her to step outside. Throughout the duration of my visit she continued to listen and watch, intently, everything that was said and would jot down notes in her book. Furthermore, his response to my concern in regards to possibly getting a biopsy was that it didn't look like anything he had ever seen before and he had no idea what the lump/discoloration was from. He then just told me to watch it and if it began to change in shape or color to then come back to him, and then we might move forward with the biopsy. All of this was said in a very monotonous, cold, and dismissive tone. I left there feeling incredibly embarrassed and nervous from the way in which I was dealt with. Never, ever, ever again! Since that experience I have refused to go back or take their phone calls. What prompted me to write this review, now, is the incessant calls and emails that I've been receiving. 3, this past week alone. On the same day. On Tuesday, I was at work and received 3 calls back to back from the office telling me to book an appointment. I called them back, today, because I have the day off. The first time I called, someone picked up the phone, and abruptly hung up. Second time; picked up, then was put on hold straight away. I waited for someone to come to the phone for about 10 minutes. I wanted to ask them to stop contacting me. The clerk then told me that I will no longer receive calls on behalf of the clinic, and I could not be happier. I do not recommend this practice at all. read more

Be prepared to have your appointment pushed back if a walk-in comes in and demands to be seen. Had an appointment which I came in early for and was pushed back 40 minutes due to walk-ins read more

This visit is a mess I was on time sat there and 3 patients went in before me. After I was placed in the room for some time a technician came and asked why I was there for which I explained. Then I waited and the lights were finally turned off. Some time after the doctor came in turn on the light and see me. This is not nice and I don't think their attitude is because everyone is a person and needs the same treatment. PS: this is not my first visit there the atmosphere appears to be changing. read more

This office is very unprofessional the wait is always long and just for a follow up visit especially on a Monday to see the vascular doctor she is nice and very knowledgeable but the wit in the office is despicable. I guess that is what happens when you go to a neighborhood doctor. The staff is very unprofessional and when you ask your wait time they seem annoyed. Saw podiatrist twice with same problem and he said I'm sorry I can't do anything for you read more

Just came back from my first visit. Had an ingrown toenail removed. Dr. Miranda and the rest of the staff were great. I was in and out within an hour. read more

I cannot imagine how anyone who gives this doctor less than a 5-star review, saw the same doctor I did. Not only was the assistant who cared for me above and beyond wonderful, Doctor Levy was kind, caring, knowledgable, and mostly very patient with me. One issue I was there for was a bad ingrown toenail that needed to be removed and I was panic stricken. Dr Levy, (and his assistant) could not have treated me with more decency, kindness, and respect. I would have understood if they were annoyed by me as I was a bit of a baby. However, they were not. They acknowledged my fear and worked hard to alleviate it. They not only helped me physically, they helped me emotionally. All of that was wonderful, but the best part was that he knew what he was doing, he understood my problems, and he had solutions. He took his time with me and gave me the attention that I believe a patient deserves from a doctor. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Levy. My mom and sister will be seeing him, and if I say wholeheartedly I trust him with them, that is the strongest recommendation I can give. read more

I loved the front desk ladies because they were so sweet during my first visit. It did not take too long for me to get my x-rays done by Christina who was such a doll. She made sure that she introduced herself to me right away and asked if I had any questions to please let her know. The doctor, Dr. B was amazing, as well as another lady I believe her name was Tonya but i'm not exactly sure. I had a great first experience and I have already referred two people to this place already. read more

Wow the receptionist does not know what she is saying first she says I have a copayment then the other receptionist told her 1199 does not have a copayment. She still was arguing there is. Then one of the receptionist said 5 people ahead so we waited patiently. We ask how many people ahead, one receptionist said 3 people ahead which is fine Because we are patiently waiting. Then we ask the rude receptionist how many people ahead she's like 5 people ahead of you, WOW. When you have a business you want to make money not drive the people away. This is crazy service. We ask we would like reschedule the appointment for Sunday with Doctor Levi, she's like he's in flushing then we ask what days is here in Pennsylvania she's like Wednesday. We are like okay so schedule for Sunday in flushing. She's like he's not there in flushing. Is she confused? Is it her first day here? I'm confused with the worst service in my life. I never seen a company who doesn't want to make money. I'm shocked at this service. Wow read more

I found Dr. Levy to be a bit insensitive and the office staff extremely unprofessional. His practice gives true meaning to the term "hood doctor." read more

Hard to say anything positive at the moment but if first impressions are a warning then our first is a depiction for all to stay away - truly surprised at the lack of professionalism in just attempting to make a new patient appointment for two people. I don't think I've ever been hung up on consecutively with just attempting to book... as in hi we would like to make an appointment and then hung up on ... second call we were placed on hold and hung up on - called back thinking it was a mistake - cause how can an establishment be so rude on what should be a pleasant friendly exchange and phone was answered with a hang up without so much as a hello please hold or anything ... that lack of professionalism is unacceptable in any setting let alone a doctor's office. If the staff is that rude and inefficient at first ring I'm scared to think of what the entire experience would render. If doctors are a reflection of their first line staff then the phone experiences reflect poorly on this establishment. Scary to think the quality of people in this office. ... stay away! read more

I recently moved to Brooklyn and injured my foot while moving into my apartment. I called a friend who lives in the neighborhood and he insisted I go see Dr Levy and his staff. Everything about my experience with Starrett podiatry was great. Dr Levy has hired a phenomenal staff in the front of the office. The foot consultation I received was thorough and explained in a way I could understand. I am now pain free and thankful to have a podiatrist nearby I can trust. read more
