Second, although her website indicted sizes you would think this means how tall they all, but no she means that's how long they are?? She showed us an inspiration pic that was so much larger than what we actually received. I wouldn't of paid for than $20 what we received for $200. I used Starr for a balloon installation recently for a birthday party and I was so impressed with the level of detail in her work. She found balloons that matched my color theme perfectly to the slightest detail. The installation was quick and easy. The outdoor balloons are still going strong over 24 hours later even during this cold front we are having. The indoor balloons will probably last for several days. USE ANY OTHER BALLOON COMPANY IN AUSTIN. I have never been so disappointed in the professionalism of a company or person before. I first started coordinating with Starr August 17th for an end of September bachelorette date. For starters, she will never answer the phone, she will only text you back which isn't efficient when you are trying to explain your vision and ask her quick questions. So I txted her clear pictures of my what I wanted and the colors I wanted (Pink, Silver, and Cow print) and I also got a pen and paper and drew out Letters and what words I wanted on each big letter balloons. There was also a big focal balloon that was supposed to say "Rachel's last Hoedown." She showed up the day of the event with three of my letter balloons in GOLD. I said: These were supposed to be silver. Her response was "They didn't have the "R" in silver so I went with gold. She should have called before hand and made sure I wanted the gold since not one other balloon I ordered was gold. They clashed horribly. I put them in the undecorated room since I was stressed because it was even time and didn't want them where I planned so just threw them somewhere. Not to mention that not ONE of the balloons that were supposed to have writing on them had any writing. When I asked her about this, she laughed as if it was no big deal and said she forgot that completely. (Which was a HUGE part of the design vision I had) She told me she would refund me but I didn't hear from her during my busy bachelorette weekend about refund so txted her Sunday asking about the refund. She told me she would only refund me half of what she messed up- total $40 because I kept the balloons. Even though I had no idea that I could not use them and give them back to her for a full refund. That option was never given to me. She was aware I was upset about the colors and that the wording wasn't on them. I do not have the energy to even talk about how rude she was in her text messages about the refund. Please do not use this company for your special events. Balloons are expensive enough, you want to go to someone reliable, trustworthy and organized. Starr of Texas, LLC is the opposite. read more
