If you're shopping for insurance, I recommend obtaining quotes from her agency. If the quotes from various companies are close in costs and benefits, I recommend going with Kaitlin's agency! What made it worse was the handling. I've been with State Farm for nearly 25 years (my husband even longer), working with 4 agents across 2 states; and never once had an issue or filed a complaint. Every agent we worked with was truly excellent--until our longtime agent retired and Kaitlyn Ponce took over. She has been difficult to work with from the beginning, and this was the tipping point. Her "fix" to the VIN issue was sloppy and incomplete, leaving me at continued risk. She assured us it would be corrected retroactively with the state to ensure no gap in coverage; but it wasn't. Thankfully, State Farm Corporate ultimately found the error themselves; notified us that they backdated the correction directly with the state to protect me from potential fines or misrepresentation on my vehicle. Instead of accountability, empathy, or even a basic apology, Kaitlyn was dismissive, cavalier and deflective, offering only a flat "It's fixed," "what else do you want us to do" -- despite the seriousness of the situation. A simple "no idea how something like this could happen - let's ensure we get ti fixed" would have gone a long way. Important to note - Anthony and Victoria in the same office were wonderful--kind, professional, helpful--and handled an emotionally charged situation with grace and professionalism - I don't want their efforts overshadowed by how poorly this was handled overall by the the Agent themselves; Kaitlyn Ponce. We are now moving all of our policies to another agent. Would not recommend this agency at all.

I could go into the office and make my payments in person, for several years I did this and didn't think about it much... One day they sent me a letter threatning to cancel my policy BECAUSE I OWED THEM A DOLLAR ($1.00)..... I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone about why they would threaten to cancel a long term customer WHO HAS NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT OR BEEN LATE...... After talking to one of the agents and telling him about it; I WAS JUST TOLD "DONT WORRY ABOUT IT"..... No apology, no explanation of how if I walk into the office to pay and you tell me what I owe and I pay it: HOW THE HELL COULD I STILL OWE YOU A DOLLAR???? I just assumed that it was racial (I'm african american and NOT from here) and shrugged it off and went about my life. However, lately they have hired a female (african american) who is either still in the process of being trained; or is just NOT very competent.... I once asked her about my renewal date and she in turn asked me for my social security number.... As I pointed to her that I had been coming there for years and they generally DONT ask for my social security number... They ask for my name and address and pull up my account based on that... None of the other agents said a word... Also, most of the times when I call she answers the phone, she generally ends up telling me that I need to speak to Aaron or the other guy; lately they are either very rarely in the office or they just tell her to say that... The other day I called about my current upcoming renewal (the new girl answered) and after waiting on hold for awhile she comes back and gives me a price which seemed kind of high... She had no information and it was clear that that she had to go ask someone and then come back and relay the information... The dollar amount she gave me turned out to be WRONG, I found this out after calling the insurance company directly... After doing a little research online I found out that the insurance companies here in Georgia have been granted another rate revision (a euphamism for a RATE INCREASE) and that Georgia was leading the nation in auto insurance rate increases at that point... NONE of the insurance agents at APB EVER mentioned or bothered to explain the whole "rate revision" SCHEME.... As this point I've switched and don't intend on renewing with THEM... After seeing how they treat a long term customer WHO HAS NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT OR EVEN BEEN LATE; along with the fact that they have apparently hired someone who is marginally (on a good day) competent its time to move on.... Based on what I have recounted here that one star rating is a well deserved assessment of APB insurance....

My PTET extension wasn't filed on time, despite multiple assurances that it would be. I expect my CPA to thoroughly review my return, maximize every legitimate deduction and credit, and legally minimize my tax liability. Instead, it felt like the focus was simply on getting the return done rather than taking the time to optimize it. If you're looking for an accountant who is proactive and thorough about finding tax-saving opportunities, this was not my experience. On the plus side, both of the representatives I spoke with were professional, knowledgable and responsive. On the negative side, neither representative mentioned one very important consideration involving a health insurance provider. The varying cost differences in prescription medication. Had I been advised to check the cost of prescription medications between provider A and provider B, I would have found out that one provider charged about twice the price for the exact same medication. Fortunately, I only have one doctor's prescribed medication and I only need it refilled about 8 times in a given year. Still, it was a considerable added expense that I was unexpectedly surprised by and unprepared for. For anyone taking a number of different prescription medications, the cost difference would be staggering. I do not find fault with Hene Health Brokerage for not commenting on just how inept, inconsistent and customer service negligent Humana healthcare is. That is something a patient has to experience for oneself in order to truly believe it.
