This man is a scammer do not work with him unless you want your money taken. I have been scammed in the past I should of known better. just like the other reviews say he will keep coming up with excuses. I have been patient and once I gave him a week to contact me again he didn't. so I followed up and now he "doesn't work with Groupon" and suggest refund when I clearly have been waiting so long for him to come through. like everyone else he owes service. hear me out when I say if you want your money taken then book with him.

Marks promise to return my money

Mark Amaya stole $250 from me! We had used Mark for body work and repairs. He did a good job HOWEVER back in January of this year I asked him if he could help me get a side view mirror part for my Rav 4! He said sure and could I give him $250 deposit for the part he needed to purchase. And $75 for installing it upon arrival of said part. Weeks and months went by and he said the part was lost and he bought it again and had no ETA for it. In February I told him to refund me the money and I would try to get it from the dealer. He said he understood and would refund the money. I went to the dealer and got the part in 2 days and they "installed" it by popping into the frame which took all of 3 minutes. The whole thing cost $75. Mark told me he would refund me by the end of February and even sent me an invoice stating so. See below. It is now March 17 and he still has not given me back my money or communicated with me. He is a thief. I have no choice but to take him to small claims court. Don't use this guy.

    Appointment set up

Having to give 1 star is a disappointment because finding a good mobile detailer seems to be hard to come by. I couldn't even see their quality of work which makes it all the worse. I requested for them to come by and clean my cars 2 weeks in advance and today they were supposed to come and wash them. At the appointment time I asked if they could just text me upon arrival and I'll come out to them. 20 minutes later they said due to weather they will reschedule my appointment (it was cloudy but no rain in my area). I couldn't consider going forward with them when they couldn't do something as simple as communicate with me and I'm afraid if I never texted them initially I would've never heard from them period. Communication with customers especially when you cancel their appointments should be a priority and it's a simple one at that. Updating my review: I really don't appreciate this business owner trying to lie and dodge taking accountability. I am thankful I was given the opportunity to avoid a business like this. Please see attached picture which is a text stating my original appointment time was indeed 12:30 and not the time he claims. Again I am not upset about him canceling the services I had appointments for I am upset about the complete lack of communication and now the childish behavior of not taking accountability. I RECOMMEND YOU READ ALL OTHER POOR REVIEWS THEY SAY HE FLAKED ON THEM TOO! Please help yourself and find a business that can properly spell and provides a resolve instead of just blaming the customer.

If you look through my review history, you'll see that I originally gave Xtreme AutoSports 5 stars back on October 18, 2016. Even in that very first review, I noted that the work was not done correctly the first time and had to be brought back to be fixed. That has always been the pattern here: jobs rarely done right the first time, and customers expected to keep coming back until it's "acceptable." About four years ago, the issues started getting significantly worse. I initially gave them grace because of COVID and the stress everyone was under. That was a mistake. Almost every time one of my cars went in, it came out with new problems. One of my cars was rare, and every issue was met with excuses about how "difficult" it was to work on. I eventually took it to a specialist, who immediately identified that the engine mounts had been installed incorrectly by Sam, which explained the shaking. Instead of fixing his own mistake, Sam tried to sell me a new timing chain. That's when I stopped trusting him and took that car elsewhere until we sold it. Then the same pattern started with our other cars--high-end vehicles, but nothing exotic. The excuses continued: "Do you know how complicated your car is?" "We don't have the right tools." "Bring it back again." One especially egregious example: new brakes that would not stop squeaking. When I complained, I was told, "Well, what do you expect? You live in a dirty area." So a high-end SUV supposedly can't handle dirt? That's when I knew the excuses had turned into lies. I took the car to the dealer and two other mechanics. All confirmed the same thing: the cheapest possible brakes had been installed. One even showed me the exact model--about $140 worth of brakes. Sam had charged me $440. When confronted, he claimed the dealer and the other mechanics were all lying and just trying to make money. At that point, I moved most of our cars to another shop. Unfortunately, our two work trucks were still with Xtreme AutoSports. One had a battery that kept draining. Sam kept replacing the battery. The real issue? The alarm system Sam installed was draining it--something another mechanic figured out immediately. This was on a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, not a complicated vehicle. I also brought in our sedan for a brake warning light. What Sam didn't know was that I had already taken it to the dealer and another mechanic. Both confirmed the brakes were fine--the issue was the sensor. Sam still tried to sell me new brakes. At this point I would have pulled every vehicle, but our final car--a 1995 Chevy Blazer that was my first car and my late father's car--was still there because Sam had broken another part and I had to bring it back. During that visit, he claimed the AC dial was broken. Since it was an older car and parts were hard to find, he told me to order a replacement from eBay, which I did. After I delivered the AC controller and the vehicle to the shop, the part went missing while in Xtreme AutoSports' possession. Sam initially claimed the part was there, then claimed it wasn't, then stopped returning calls entirely. Over a period of more than a month, I called nearly every business day. Not once did Sam return a single call. Employees admitted parts are frequently lost at the shop. Despite being given a formal 14-day period to locate the part (documented in writing), it was never found. To make matters worse, I later learned that the part returned to the seller was not the one I purchased, but a broken part removed from my vehicle. Sam ultimately denied responsibility, dismissed my concerns, and refused to compensate me for the lost property. To add insult to injury, my AC was still not fixed, and I had to pay another mechanic to complete the repair properly. I filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. When contacted, Sam lied, claiming I had lost the part--despite his own employee admitting parts regularly go missing and despite Sam previously saying the part was in the shop. If you research this business--including the Better Business Bureau, where they are not accredited--you'll see a clear pattern: sloppy work, cheap parts, repeated excuses, and a refusal to take accountability. Sam has become someone who appears interested only in making money, even if it means screwing over long-time customers. I am no longer a client. All of our cars and all of our money are now elsewhere. Learn from my mistake. Do not go here.

It took them 3 full days to get back to me radio silence until Thursday afternoon around 4:45 PM. Then, out of nowhere, they demanded a deposit within 15 minutes (had to pay by 5:00 PM that same day) or I'd lose my appointment slot for Friday. I was stuck in rush-hour traffic in Los Angeles no way I could handle that on the spot without risking everything. You make a potential customer wait 3 full days for a response, then hit them with an impossible 15-minute ultimatum during peak traffic hours? That's not customer service; that's pure arrogance. They used the $50 deposit to lose a customer instead of giving time or more options to pay since I waited 3 full days to even be contacted. You don't build long-term value by treating people like this. You make your money from repeat business and referrals, not one rushed sale that alienates everyone. All this did was guarantee I'll never come back and actively pushed me straight to your competitor, which turned out to be a way better experience. He was responsive, professional, no pressure tactics. All anyone has to do is look on Yelp: the guy who is second with 718 five-star reviews is the one to go to. There's a reason you multiple accounts with reviews: the inconsistency shows. One bad interaction like this costs you a customer forever and now a negative review that future people will see. How you treat people matters just as much as (if not more than) the product or service. This experience screamed "we don't value you until you pay," and it backfired spectacularly. I wouldn't choose this brand even if the work was top-tier. Think hard about pushing rushed deposits on people you've barely spoken to, reviews matter, and this one is loud. 1/5 stars. Steer clear if you value basic respect, reasonable communication, and some flexibility after making customers wait days.

The last few visits I've had there was always and "issue" with having to wait longer for my NT01s to show up for my Miata or forgetting to reset the TMPS on my wife's car after service. Generally I've chalked it up as "things happen"... Earlier this week I made an appointment for my Colorado. My TMPS service light came on. I called up to have them check it out. Dash board showed a right rear sensor, they said it was $80 to replace it. Okay cool. After the service the tech approached me and said they scanned all the other sensors and 2 showed low battery and one did not read at all.... The previous day when they checked my truck my dash showed all the tires reading pressure except the initial right rear. The tech then tried to explain to me that because 1 sensor wasn't reading they all wouldn't. That was the point that I decided to sever my tires with this store. I went in to replace a sensor that wasn't reading for $80 to being told that I told THEM which sensor to replace (even though they checked and based on the dash they told me it was the right rear) and that it was going to cost another $240 to have all of my sensors replaced and that they wouldn't work now because they can't be programmed.... I am familiar with how the sensors work, I know they have a shelf and battery life, but to go in and have 3 of the 4 work, replace the bad one then them tell me they won't work anymore unless I replace them all seemed shady, and the tech trying to explain his way out of the reasons why they worked when I pulled in to not working at all now was even shadier. Good luck, definitely buyer beware.
