The visuals were so blurry, that one could not even read the credits. The sound was very good,…read morebut i wouldn't ever go there again.

I thought because of the updated theater experience I'd be updating with a higher rating. Noooope…read more When we get to the front of the line, a register opens up. The girl at the register just stares at us. So we walk over. No hi, hey, or how you doing. Literally silence. It was pretty awkward. We ordered our tickets. Then she finally speaks after we get our tickets. "Enjoy the movie." Then as we're walking away I hear her say, ""Hi, how are you tonight?" to the next people. Ok. We decided to skip snacks and drinks. Went to our seats. The seats are good but not great. If you didn't know, you can order cooked food now. That's awesome but there's no where to sit your food. I'm guessing you put it in your lap. That's the other downside. I had to smell my neighbors onion rings. Bleh. Not my idea of setting the atmosphere. My last beef is the main reason I won't be going back. I decided I was thirsty. I get in line. The kid at the register looked up at me. I'd say I was third in line. The first person gets there items and leaves. He tells the next lady, he'll be right back. He comes back. Takes her order. Gets her stuff and leaves. He walks away. Doesn't say anything to me. I'm waiting and waiting. I finally look over and this guy is at another register taking someone's order! I was irritated. He knew I was there. I skipped buying a drink. I just wanted to watch my movie and leave. If you want to see how a movie experience like this is supposed go then travel to the CMX at the Mall of America. You can order food AND the seats come with trays to put your food on. The seating is comfortable and not cramped. This location was more concerned with how many recliner seats they can squeeze in. Oh..best part at CMX if you want a drink then you can easily get one. Shocking!

We were excited to try this food-to-seat cinema reopen, unfortunately at this time, it's going to…read moreneed some help to stay open imo. It seems like it's currently understaffed when you walk in there's really no clear direction on where you're supposed to go or how you're supposed to order the food so that day the same person was taking food orders, and scanning tickets at the counter, you order your food at the counter and then you can pay extra to have it delivered to your seat or you can pick it up yourself. There's a lot of burger selections and the burger that we got said that it came with fries but when we ordered it, we were told it doesn't actually come with fries so we all ordered extra sides of fries and when it got delivered, we had fries with the burger plus the extra side of fries which we definitely didn't need. There's no way to call anybody to get any food during the movie, which is really one of the main conveniences of a place like this and then, unfortunately the burgers were not very tasty. I would never eat there again. The only reason I'd be back is if there was a movie I wanted to see that wasn't playing at a time I wanted to go to at my normal theater the seats were new and clean and I like that they have heat and recline, but I honestly didn't think the headrest on them was very comfortable and my daughter complained at the same issue. I really wish they could change the menu and maybe upgrade the service a little bit here so it can stay open.

Golden Ticket Cinemas should be absolutely ashamed of themselves…read more I just took my kid to see the new Mario Galaxy movie. We went to a 3D screening and when we put on our glasses there wasn't any difference in the image for most of the previews. Doubled images in everything except a very shallow field. It was difficult to watch. So I thought something was wrong with the projection. I let someone know and they said they would tell someone. Movie begins and no change so I go find the manager and let them know the problem is still there. She responded "yea we don't know how to fix it it's always like that and we can't do anything about it." Yet they have multiple screens showing 3D and they are charging prices for something that does not work. That is incredibly unethical and shows that they don't care about their customers health (headaches from the images) or about the films they show. So I get my kid and ask for a refund. They refund my tickets but refuse to refund the $30+ in concessions we don't need if we're not watching the film. Absolutely disappointing and unethical practice. If they have that little care about their customers it makes me worry about the other places in their business where they don't care. Considering they serve food and beer I'd be worried about the health and safety standards there now as well. I would love to keep going there as it's usually a very pleasant theatre but this shows me they care more about just promoting their beer wall and ordering kiosks than their customers.
