Then there are three floors that had multiple rooms with different themes such as farming, Abraham Lincoln, jobs in Central Illinois, and even a little kids area to play as if they were on a farm. in total, I counted eleven different rooms - and we spent 3.5 hours there. Some of the exhibits can get a bit wordy; if you read it all - you'd be there all day - but that's great for a deep dive for stuff you're interested in.

The couple attends concerts at the theater often so it was lovely to know having their wedding there meant so much. My partner and I watched the wedding from the balcony where the view was spectacular and were easily able to move around the upper level and main level when we wanted to mix and mingle during the reception. If I could watch every wedding from that vantage point, I would; so cool! The venue allowed outside catering, so we had the couple's favorite local barbecue. The serving line moved fast and I was glad for the space allowed to line up all 150+ of us. The stage was used for a dance floor later in the night. Though small, it was a fun experience. The stage is a bit difficult to navigate around as there is only one set of narrow steps in the front. The lights also contribute to making the dance floor a bit warm.

Drinks were tasty and served quickly and there's water and cups you can serve yourself in a couple places. Theres plenty of beer options and a full bar, as others have mentioned, if you buy a drink you can play pretty much everything but pinball and skee ball. No problem there. This place has so many games. I mostly stuck to the racing game and the two hunting games, my husband played a few others and we played one alien hunting game together. Most games were in working order, it's expected that a couple will be down, no big deal. This place would be great for a night out with friends, it was perfect for our date night. Lots of fun and we'll definitely stop back in next time we're in the area.

Once a drink is purchased, use of all the games (save for skeeball and pinball) are free and at least as of this week, most of the machines are in fact working- despite largely being of the 'old school' variety (PacMan, Galaxian, NBA Jam, Daytona, etc.). They even have machines and monitors set up to emulate in-home games (other than say the controllers) like Atari, Intellivision, PS2, etc. Compared to the former location (now Pour Bros) most of this location is quite well lit and divided into a front bar area and a back room with a wide opening to the pinball and skeeball area but then continuing down the entire length of the building without getting any natural light, so one can almost seemingly disappear in a gaming experience for a while if needed. There aren't any gambling machines and there isn't any food but there is a restroom located off both rooms. Altho I am not a big gamer, I do enjoy some of the retro machines, moreso I absolutely LOVE the extensive and heavily varied beer/cider/mead/seltzer (and even some wine) options and THAT alone is what will likely keep us coming back.
