Frank was absolutely great!! He picked a group of us up at our home and brought us to the races. When it was time to be picked up, he was even able to get within the gates so we didn't have to walk as far. It was definitely 5 star service and I plan to book with him again in the future! read more

Wonderful Company, service and vehicles. Frank, our driver, was on time, drove safe, and communicated like a boss! We rented a limo bus for our son's Prom, and the limo was a favorite part of the night. They had a great sound system, clean and fresh smelling, fun lighting and Son said it was very roomy even with 13 ppl. Highly Recommend!! read more

The driver, Frank, from Starlight Limousines, was the most courteous, patient, and respectful driver! We were running late for the venue on my wedding day, and he could have easily been impatient with the chaos of herding 8 people into a vehicle. Instead he was thoughtful and helped us out which made it less stressful! The ride was smooth, the seats were clean, and the lighting was beautiful inside! 12/10 recommend them for any event!!!! read more

We live 3.5 hours away and found Starlight Limousines through Google, so we were taking a chance -- and I'm so glad we did! From the very beginning, everything was professional, organized, and stress-free. They picked up my granddaughter and her friends in Oceanside, took them to dinner in San Diego, then to prom, and safely back to Oceanside without any issues at all. The communication was excellent, the service was efficient, and the driver made the girls feel safe and comfortable the entire evening. As a grandparent planning this from far away, it gave me so much peace of mind knowing everything was handled so smoothly. I highly recommend them for any special event or prom transportation! read more

Frank is a wonderful driver. Very prompt and very nice. The Mercedes Sprinter was spotless and gorgeous. We had a party of 14 and everyone fit in the vehicle easily. The Limo transportation facilitated our evening in downtown San Diego making it magical and stress free. We will definitely do this again! read more

Frank's the best. When I was looking for quotes, they were the first to call and the best rate. Everything was timely communicated, Frank showed up on time, was wonderful to talk to/hang with on the long drives. We went from San Diego to LA to the Dodgers game. He knew exactly where to go with no waits. After the game, he was right outside the stadium and we got out with waiting in little traffic. The game even took 1 hour longer than what I have scheduled and he didn't charge us. Overall, great experience and will definitely be using again. read more

Frank provided excellent service by going above and beyond what was necessary. I had inadvertently booked the wrong vehicle for my kid's prom, not realizing that error until the limo arrived. However, Frank was able to perform some last minute magic and switch out the limo for the limo bus midway through the booking, which completely elevated the kids' experience into something unforgettable! On a busy prom weekend, most limo companies would have said, "Sorry, we can't modify your booking on the day of." Not the case with Starlite. Tysm, Frank! read more

Highly recommend Starlite Limousines! Frank was wonderful from my initial inquiry all the way through the day of the event. We rented the Sprinter bus for my daughter's birthday, and the girls had an absolute blast. The bus was spotless, comfortable, and had a great sound system that made it even more fun. We will definitely be using this service again! read more

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Frank and his company on our limo ride! Our limo trip was very unique, we had to put up yard signs at 25 different houses for our Booster program, which meant 25 different stops for Frank. He was so accommodating, organized, and genuinely great to work with. He stayed on top of everything, was very helpful, and made the whole trip a blast for us. Not only was he professional, but also kind and patient throughout the trip. Highly recommend his service for any occasion! read more

Frank was AMAZING! On a busy Saturday night he took time to save his stretch limo for a fellow ASU grad on her special night. Picking up our daughter and her husband at the end of the wedding reception was the perfect ending to a perfect day. He made sure their ride was perfect, as he took them down the coast for a moment of quiet and relaxation, letting them take selfies, drink champagne, and then treating them with style as they departed the limo at their resort destination. Our daughter said Frank was great and everything was perfect. Thanks for coming to our aide and surprising our kids with a ride to remember. read more

I have been a steady user of limo services (car services) in various cities for decades. Thus far Starlite has been exactly what I need in Carlsbad. They are the best I have found here after a year of searching. And I live here now. I am also an intermittent user of Lyft, but for something critical (like trips to an airport) I don't trust Lyft as much. As an old boss of mine used to say, "customers like to have a throat to choke when they are upset about something". If Lyft or one of its drivers makes a mistake, I am out of luck. If a limo driver makes a mistake, there is an actual person with an actual name and phone number that I can call, and that person will work hard to fix the problem, whatever it might be. The limo business is all about communicating with customers, scheduling drivers, making sure those drivers do the right thing, getting the money to them (or from them if the rider pays in cash), and dealing with unexpected problems. So a rating for a limo company is a rating of two different things: *How good is the owner at accurate scheduling, last-minute problem solving, and communication with customers? *How extensive and reliable is the network of drivers that the owner works with? Most limo companies have relationships with other companies to borrow drivers when needed. It takes time to build those relationships and it takes care to maintain them. Lots of mutual trust. I rate Starlite Limousines 5 stars on both. I became a customer of Starlite Limousines when my previous limo company made two hard-to-forgive mistakes. (They sent a driver to pick me up at LAX despite my scheduling a pickup at SAN. And another time they scheduled a ride to the airport for the wrong date, so no driver showed to pick me up on the morning of my flight). The owner was not a native speaker of English, but I am more fluent in his language than he is in mine, so I usually did every communication in both languages just to be sure. Starlite is not cheap. But you get what you pay for, and for most trips that I take, it's still cheaper than driving myself to the airport and paying to park. Obviously it is much more convenient. If I want to gamble on something cheaper, I'll take Lyft and not a car service. But I am not a gambler. I plan to continue using Starlite Limousines for my car service needs in North County. read more
