I booked my appointment a few weeks in advance, and DM her on Instagram telling her what I wanted…read moreand asking what it would cost. When she didn't reply, I booked a full set with simple art. I wanted short nails with a simple white French tip. I also texted her about a follow up appointment that I wanted to book for a few weeks after and I received no response. Day of my nail appointment, she texts me back saying she is going to be 10 mins late. I arrived at 11:35, same time as scheduled and waited in my car an extra 10 mins before heading in and waiting another 25-30 mins. After I sat in her chair she told me that short French tip nails would be $75 because it is considered "extreme art". I would understand this if it was acrylic cut out french tip, but not for regular hand painted. I told her this is not what her website says and that I was not comfortable paying for that especially after I was disregarded on Instagram and text and then she made me wait over half an hour for my appointment on top of that. I was really looking forward to getting my nails done by her as I thought her nail art and style is really cute. She blocked me on Instagram after I left the salon which I think was very immature. I know many nail techs that would've offered a discount for just the fact of being late alone. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the fact that I waited over 30 minutes for a scheduled appointment. Hopefully she will do better in the future with her communication and time management.

I really came here to comment on the one-star she received by Linda over her pricing. Using Yelp reviews as a weapon because a business's pricing doesn't align with your personal budget is unfair and frankly abusive in a free market. No one is entitled to someone else's labor at a price they personally decide is acceptable. If a service isn't within your budget, the appropriate response is to choose another provider--not attempt to damage a small business with a retaliatory review. If a service isn't within your budget, the solution is to keep scrolling--not to try to tank a small business with a one-star review. Yelp is for feedback, not financial negotiations. For those who value quality, longevity, and someone who actually knows what they're doing--call Sarah. And LISTEN LINDA, Do Better. I'll be back. Happily. At full price.
