Real estate agents, stay away!! I was sold ads saying I would only be up against national advertisers like Yoplait Yogurt, Gillette, etc. I was shocked to go to the store when my ad started running to see another realtor in as many carts as I had purchased. This realtor's time has since elapsed (for over 30 days) and the ads are still in the carts competing against my $500 a month expense for only 20% of the carts. I have pointed this fact out to Tom at Starkart and yet the competitors' ads still sit in the carts. Furthermore, I had sent in an ad update, and they don't update the ads unless you are have the new proof completed over 30 days in advance. This company is in Ventura, and I am in San Diego. Apparently they only drive down once every 2 months. Terrible waste of money, for the service and actual exposure you get in return. I should have listened to my friend with a contracting business who said they got ZERO calls from their ad last summer. UPDATE (3/27/17) - Yelp reviews get attention of upper management. Upper management resolves my grievance, plus a little extra effort. I wish it didn't have to get to this point, but I am currently satisfied. read more

Update -- I received a call from the Exec VP. All my concerns were addressed & we are moving forward with a good game plan & in good spirits. I just received a sample of my ad that is now printed on Vinyl rather than the thin paper. Looks better. I will be going to the store later today to test how this material holds up in the cart frame. Starkart said they will be changing out all my paper ads to the vinyl ones when the next cycle change happens - that's 2/11/19. I will be visiting the store & monitoring to make sure our Ads hold up without a plastic cover. Happy with how Starkart sent me a sample right away & are staying in touch with me to make sure we are getting the service as promised. The lil grocery cart sample is super cute! Crooks and liars, misappropriated money from. my bank for a year after my contract was done. I changed bookkeeper and it came to my attention. They went to great lengths to concoct a cover up. Have no integrity at all. Didn't even have the decency to offer a compromise. They banked $4000 for nothing. read more

I never thought I would advertise on this platform..but the StarKart guys were so friendly and easy to work with, and they helped me see the value in the marketing on Supermarket Carts!!! Smooth business experience with easy to understand instructions. READ THE UPDATE BELOW***TO JEFF's RESPONSE! If you spent as much time chasing and trying to explain your bad customer service reviews you would not have this problem. 1. Yes the VP did call me back (while my child was crying - not sure how that relevant) AFTER I left this review, called the office twice and left a review with the BB. So not sure who "Jeff" is but since your try to negate my review I will respond to you. 2. I absolutely do not advertise with REALTOR.com (not sure how you made that up) not sure how you don't think advertising a list of homes for sale on my ad and Realtor.com advertising a list of homes for sale is not competing? 3. I absolutely was promised to have 80% of the carts and the other 20% promotion for Bed Bath and Beyond production (also stated again in an email from Jenifer) 4. After my conversation with the VP he did offer to extend my cycle - I chose not to accept for one reason. The terrible customer service I have received this far (remember this started in July, it is now October) 5. I asked for a refund since as stated before (1. Competing Ads ran against mine, not the correct ratio in the store (I counted), not the correct ad ran). The VP refused - so I told him I would be looking into small claims - which I will as soon as I have time to get the proof in order and had you served. 6. The VP did say that he could alter the ad to be what I wanted - however I never approved the current ad in the store and the starkarts graphics dept is the one telling me it's not possible. So they altered my last proof that I did not approve and stuck it in the store. 7. BB has only taken my complaint down because I haven't had time to respond to them - like you seem to have a dept to respond to negative reviews - I will get to that too. Again never spoken to "Jeff" in my life and he does not have all the facts so I find your response ridiculous and word of mouth with in realtors about StarKarts we have all had similar experiences just wish I had asked around before hand. read more

After we signed up & did the initial ad, customer service has been terrible. The sales rep Stevan Page NEVER answers our calls or texts back. It's as if he has blocked our phone #. Goes directly to voicemail. No one at the company will accept responsibility to help us with any issues. We get transferred to other people's voicemails. Our ad was put on cheap paper. The placard does not have any protective plastic cover to protect it from rain & the elements. Without any covers, many of the placards have flown off. People in the community have sent me videos of my ads on the parking lot floor & various other areas. Very very disappointing. read more

Spend your advertising dollars elsewhere! The lies start from the very beginning. Was promised a 'saturation percent' and got shafted. They initially installed what they said they would, but within just over a week, most of the ads were replaced by other ads, even though I was promised this saturation for the duration of the ad campaign. I tried NUMEROUS times to rectify the situation via email and phone to no avail for almost 3 months. They said they installed more ads but they didn't. They even denied saying certain things, yet they also said the person who sold the line of garbage 'was no longer with the company'. They also put up ads for 2 other real estate firms, even though they told me I would not be competing with others in my field. It's all lies. Just go elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable companies out there doing grocery cart advertising. read more
