The first time I used her services, I was doing a staycation and i came home to check on my cat. I am a full time RVer. All she had to do was open and close the windows and use the air conditioner. It was hot inside! So i turned everything on and opened more windows. She was shown how to use everything. She had left a litter box bag in the litter box, and disposed of some in the inside trash rather than in the outside bin as shown. Still I thought id give her another chance and try again. She repeatedly waits til the last possible minute or never responds, making it impossible to make plans. Unreliable and untrustworthy worthy. Use at your own risk. Good thing I have back ups!

One cat even was struck ill from a possible early nurturing (I adopted him when he was 5) and she really helped me along the way and guided me to a great vet. I used to work at this petsmart and have personally seen some of the people who harass her.FYI, people you have no right to expect a cat just on the fact you like it. Many times I've seen people complain because Cathy would not wake up the kittens for them to play with. Kittens can not be disturbed from deep sleep or it can really mess up the developmental growth. Cathy can be a bit bold and strong headed but she has seen where these animals have came from and some sadly do come back to her. She is just trying to prevent the poor cats from going through the re homing cycle. Also, be honest on the application process; if your apartment does not allow animals don't lie and say they do.

I filled out the 3-4 page application and was told Cathy would call me. 5 days later I went into Pet Smart again to find out where I was in the process. I was told AGAIN that Cathy would call me to interview me regarding the cat. If not that night, definitely the next day. 3 days later I went in AGAIN, only to find out they had adopted the cat to someone else without even calling me. Am I disappointed about not getting the cat? Of course. However, I think its just common courtesy to let someone know. Why did I have to drive to PetSmart 3 times to find out what was happening? With the huge amount of cats that need homes, why does Catz Jazz feel like they can just waste people's time like this? Needless to say, I would not recommend adopting a cat from this agency. There are plenty others out there that understand the idea of customer service.

I talked to Monica and she told me I was suppose to email April regarding that concern, which was not relayed to me at the time. I mean where is the communication!! but Shawn made it his business to blast my business in a nextdoor app that we are somehow apart of. I am continually impressed by and grateful for everyone with whom I have interacted at Agave. Dr. Miller is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind. She helps me understand what she's seeing, and we talk together to agree on the best course of action. She is matter-of-fact and straightforward about her assessments and recommendations while remaining human and empathic at all times. I also appreciate her creativity and ability to incorporate as much context as can be seen, especially for my 22-year-old chinchilla. The rest of the staff is similarly top-notch. Edna, the case manager, is incredibly capable, experienced, knowledgeable, and kind. Jessica, at the front desk, is both empathetic and efficient, which I can't imagine is easy with distraught humans and animals. Kenzie and Rhagen are two of their terrific techs who always take wonderful care of my fuzzy friends. I can't recommend Agave enough, especially for your exotic friends!

We got an appointment with Dr. Pruitt for Friday, June 13 at 3 pm. Since we were new, we were told the appointment was going to be an hour long. We arrived 10 minutes early and checked in. Got called into the room around 3 pm. Intake took 10 minutes. We waited another 20 minutes until an MA checked in on us to tell us that there was an emergency and it wouldn't be long until Dr. Pruitt came. Waited another 10 minutes (be mindful that it was 3:41 pm already); Dr. Pruitt came in at 3:43 pm. We finished at 4 pm, waited for our paperwork, and paid at 4:06 pm. The whole appointment, besides the waiting portion, took a good 20-30 minutes, so I don't understand why the appointment was supposed to be 1 hour long. Honestly, not much to say... other than the fact that we should not have been waiting that long at all! It was a waste of time and if I knew we were going to be waiting that long, I would've rescheduled or gone somewhere else. Pricing- $94 for annual bird check up $36.60 for nail trimmings $41 for bird fecal $114 for gram staining, which we will do once we get results from bird fecal test. Our total came out to be $174... Overall, if we didn't wait that long, I would've given 4-5 stars, but because it was also our first visit, it honestly could've gone a lot better. Obviously emergencies happen, but it could've been brought to our attention that the waiting period may be a bit longer.
