The service provided by the staff member was friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and well organized. I can do almost all of my Christmas and general gift shopping there, because there's such a wide variety of stuff from all over the world. Of course, I can't resist all the yummy food, chocolate and sweeties either! :D The atmosphere is always friendly - indeed the door is often opened for you as you go in! They play a lot of world music which makes a great change from the mainstream stuff that one hears in many shops. You're sure to find something really different for presents or even just to treat yourself! Fantastic little shop and I hope to see more Simply The Best shops opening elsewhere in the future :D

They have little quirky gifts for children, mimicking old style toys like spinning tops and wooden soldiers. They also sell very modern and unique gifts such as Christmas decoration and table lamps in styles of high heels and boots. It really is a little treasure trove with lots of little nooks and crannies to explore.

The Falls of Shin was a lovely place to visit this November. We were lucky to spot some salmon…read morejumping through the water, even on a cold wet day. Aswell as the falls, there are lovely walks through the forest with different wildlife to spot. There were walks suitable for everyone, and we had no problem even with a buggy and mother who has had two knee replacements. There is a large free car park which accomodates all vehicles. There were a couple of buses there at the time, this however did not affect the visitor centre too much. The Harrods gift shop is well worth a wee look. Staff are very welcoming and approachable, even though there was a good few older people, there was still plenty of room for us to manoever the buggy! Gifts are reasonable priced and the usual Harrods bags are available to buy. The restaurant was ver good value for money, around £7.00 per main meal and all meals were plentiful. The salads were especially appetising! For the children there is a large play park and also a mini assault course to keep them amused! Well worth a visit for all the family, at any time of year!

There were staff present, but no one assisted us. If someone had, then we probably would have bought some goods. Although, we were unsuccessful in finding good deals, you may be lucky. Do not miss stepping into their Food and Drink Hall. When we were there, it was bustling with activity. Basically, it is a large food court that you would find in a shopping mall in the States only the Food and Drink Hall is better in my opinion. First thing, we did was to try and find a spot to sit. The place was packed! A kind gentleman gave up his table for my wife and I. Thank you good Sir!! There were about a dozen food vendors to choose from. We chose to try Blazin Pizza. What an awesome choice!!! Definitely the best pizza that I have ever eaten in the entire United Kingdom!! We visited July 2024, and they have probably left the Victorian Market by now. The owners were looking for someone to take over their spot at the Food and Drink Hall. Hopefully, the business that takes over makes great pizza too!! Wish we had more time to explore the Victorian Market. We did not have the time to spare to see all that it had to offer. Til next time!
