We were happy with what we bought. Prices seemed fair compared to the other stores we stopped at. Granted we only went to a couple of other shops. The service provided by the staff member was friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and well organized. Because of this one time experience, I can recommend Caledonian gifts & souvenirs to tourists like myself.

I wanted to take back some whiskey marmalade (and it's another story that it got impounded at the airport as was over the liquid limit) and I also found a great plough-house chutney!! Very affordable, cost around £6 and very pleased as was looking for local produce exactly like this, which the local Marks & Spencer's didn't stock. Oh, also check out the whisky flavored condom at the front checkout of the store! There was also a clotted cream fudge, but it was too big a size, so didn't purchase. Overall however, very pleased with the variety of local food that was available at this shop, and if you are looking for good quality and relatively inexpensive food items to take back as souvenirs, then definitely recommend coming & checking out this store. The cake was moist and fresh with a beautiful white hi plate icing with coconut on top. It was all so delicious! The deli also has coffee and lots more on the menu. As well they gave a small selection of gourmet deli items, fresh free-range eggs, cheeses, and lovely looking produce. Well worth a visit!
