With the continued rise of the local coffee shop, it's nice to have a lot of options! Every so often however, it's nice to be able to go and grab something that is super familiar and consistently above average. In addition, our little dudes are totally enamored with the ham and Swiss croissant sandwich for breakfast. It's consistently solid and a nice go to when we are running late or it's been a morning where the of a fun breakfast. The set up here is the standard Starbucks with plenty of spots to set up shop to study, read or meet up with friends. The folks that work here are ever friendly and happy to make your drink with a smile. The drive-through seems to be perpetually busy and the outdoor seating fills up quickly in the summertime. Overall this is a good place to grab your double, extra hot, vanilla, soy, sugar-free, gluten-free, Free range, cage free, anabiotic free, skinny whatever you like! read more

I am really surprised that there are not more reviews on this place! The location is very convenient and the people who work here are truly awesome! This is the Starbucks I visit most, and to be frank with you, it has the nicest baristas and a great manager. I am not throwing this out there; I frequented many Starbuckses across the US. I also visited many in Germany, Turkey, Britain, and Barcelona, Spain. Gita is a great manager who ensures that coffee lovers get the best coffee and that the place is clean the whole time. She even went to corporate and had the very uncomfortable seats replaced after customer requests. Janel, Genee, Bruce, Angelica, Brittany, Madison, Graham, and many others I forgot to mention here do their best to try to get to know you and ensure that you have a pleasant experience. Now, to the customer who gave one star. I do not agree. I wasn't there and don't know what his experience was like that day, but I don't think the baristas ignored him or were just rude to him. I visited the place during many odd hours; the moment they opened or the last two minutes before closing. My experience has been nothing but great each time. Yes, people may not have been in their best manners when this guy visited the store, but do remember that Starbucks is a corporate business and it may get very stressful to work for a company at times. Especially very early in the morning! Yet, I think these wonderful people working here are doing the best they can! In sum, if you live in the area or just passing by and feel like having a cup of Starbucks coffee, please do try this place. You won't regret! read more

If I buy a 24oz reusable coffee cup from Starbucks I would only assume that they would fill it all the way up. Instead at this Starbucks only they don't seem to understand that. The last couple times I was there the barista filled it only 3/4 of the way up. Also, the point of bringing in a reusable coffee cup is to reduce waste, this Starbucks makes my coffee in a plastic cup then pour that into my reusable cup and throw away the plastic cup... My favorite Starbucks in Yakima! Not only are the staff great and quick BUT their drinks are the absolute best.

So I understand this Starbucks needing to close early because of the renovation. However, they still have their signs out saying DT open and mobile ordering inside. So I sat in the drive thru for several minutes after another car moved up. Finally after sitting like an idiot in the closed drive thru, I pulled around to the window and lo and behold, there was a sign that they'll be closing early until June 8th. Would've been nice to have a sign at he drive thru!!! Doesn't make sense to have one only at the window. read more

I have ordered the salted caramel cream cold brew for years now. I'm not sure what has changed at this store location, but they cannot consistently make the drink properly anymore. I am not one to complain, so I've given them a long time to correct the problem before considering this post. It's consistently correctly made at any other location. The final decision was when my husband and I explained they weren't correct as they handed them to us. I'm assuming a manager came over and asked what was wrong with the drinks. I explained the foam wasn't correct because it was sitting on top and wasn't descending down in streamers through the coffee as it usually does. She said that's because they just made them and they hadn't sat yet. We left and went to the car wash, waited in line fir 30 minutes and there were still no foam streamers cascading down through our cold brew. We stopped back by and showed her they hadn't made them correctly. She was snippy and snotty as she remade them...correctly. But We won't go back to this store after being treated like We were wrong. Good thing Yakima has a lot of Starbucks stores. I wish I had a picture of her snippy snappy face to post. read more

I love this starbucks! All the baristas are super nice, the drive thru is generally pretty fast, and they remembered my name AND drink after I had only been going there for a few days! Corey one of the barista knows all of our names. We come in every so often yet the fact he knows us and is so happy makes us feel like royalty. I'm from Seattle and experience Seattle Starbucks on the daily yet never has any given me the experience this one does. The drinks are prompt and tasty 100% of the time. I purchased a hot breve this morning. I drove 2 miles to my home. My beverage was tepid. Very disappointing.

The bearded barista was very quick and precise. He managed the in store customers along with the drive thru customers with great speed. The woman taking my order, Ashley, was very friendly and engaged in very friendly and fun conversation. Drink was perfect. Great Starbucks! read more

Hey I don't drink coffee or mocha loca choke-a latte's or whatever, I do like the people that work here though they are pretty cool and provide good service so if you're a mocha loca choca latte with sprinkles drinker than I don't see why you wouldn't like this Starbucks everything else is pretty Starbucks uniform. read more

I love Starbucks,and their outstanding customer service they are well known for. If an order is made wrong they will remake it no questions asked! The stores hours are great for someone like me with retail hours there is no other place I'd rather go for a quick pick me up!!! Worst Starbucks ever! They are always out of everything!! And when they are out of things they don't tell you until you go up to the window and pay for your order.
