Definitely one of my favorite Starbucks Safeway kiosks. Staff are very friendly. There is a electrify America charging station right outside the door, although one of the most expensive ones I've ever seen. Small counter area where you can stand and have your coffee. This has been the best Starbucks I've ever been to with Great Service and Great food, the cups were even 50% off! Which was really cheap. The area was very clean and the staff were really friendly and they even greeted us! Anyways I really liked the cake pop is was one of the best cake pops I've ever had! Out of cold brew. Out of iced coffee. Out of chocolate milk. That was our experience at this little Starbucks cramped within a Safeway. With so many other coffee shops out there and so many better options, it's hard to justify a return visit. We were passing through town and thought we'd kill two birds with one stone by both doing some shopping and getting caffeinated. The Starbucks is a stand that was cramped into a poorly designed little area where you'll inevitably be in someone's way as you wait while standing in the cramped aisles. The gals who helped us were nice enough, but as I mentioned, they were out of everything and seemed overwhelmed. I don't know if they were waiting on supplies or just couldn't find the time to make the stuff, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. read more

Was just treated more rudely than I ever have before. The barista (blonde with a nose piercing) was helping one person in front of me and looked around him And said 'just so you know I won't be serving you, I'm going on break. I haven't had a break all day and I'm here alone'.... Horribly rude tone- just an ugly person overall. What the heck is up with the lame reviews? That was not my experience on the occasions I dropped in to get my caffeine fix! Located inside the Safeway store in beautiful Willits, CA this Starbucks did not disappoint. The Chestnut Praline with extra toppings, extra hot and double-cupped was made with love. At least that was the running comment. lol. The vanilla latte was really made well too. Yes, this isn't a walk-in Starbucks and given the size there is usually just a single worker. Made my exact order on the Starbucks app, so my bf could order it for me without confusion, and the barista working had no idea what espresso was... asked if it was tea, coffee, "what is it??" Then proceeded to tell him they couldn't make my drink(that I get here quite often with super friendly baristas), and had to call over someone else. My order is 2 items... espresso and cold foam. I went to Starbucks in the Safeway store and as I walked up the girl behind the counter, was on her phone texting. I said jokingly you been caught. She said I was texting my husband telling him when I get my lunch. I said don't the customers come first? She said I had to text him. So I said you make the customers wait then. She did not apologize for making me wait. My view is, that if you are at work your phone stays in your pocket. I will tell others my friends about what happen. read more

Starbucks in Safeway Like many others I have been going to Starbucks for years all over the country. Almost always good/great service. Here at the Starbucks in the Safeway not so good. When you order a Chai Tazo tea hot with no foam and you get handed a cup that is 1/3 foam you politely ask to have them fix it. The girl turns her back and complains to the other employee what a pain customers are and then hands you back a cup still full of foam. When I take the cap off and explain again what I want she says it's so hard to do because the steam foams the milk. Funny how the other 136 other Starbucks I have gone in can get it right. read more

"They don't really teach us anything," is what the Barista at the Starbucks in Safeway said to me after I had tried to redeem a Google offer. I had bought a Starbucks gift certificate which worked at every other Starbucks store but I guess what they lack at this particular franchise are employees who receive proper training. For goodness sake the Barista did not know how to scan a barcode! I went here on a separate occasion and ordered a mocha frappuccino, soy, no whipped cream. The barista was either not paying attention or the order did not seep into her short term memory because she topped off my drink with whipped cream. "I asked for no whip," I say with a smile, trying to be nice but at the same time holding in my temper. "Oh, you did?," she replies. "Yes." She proceeded to scoop the whipped cream off the top of the drink as opposed to making me a new one. At other locations they're quick to make an entirely new drink, no questions asked. I'm mostly vegan so this was upsetting. Her curt behavior makes me wonder if all the baristas here hate their jobs and take out their anger on the customers who just want their caffeine fix? Please Starbucks... teach your employees "things." At the very least, teach them about proper customer service and listening to patrons. read more

This Starbucks sucks out of all the the ones I have been too they didn't make the 4 drinks I ordered right at all I had to have them remake it 2 times and it really made me made so I just left... I won't be coming back here for a while read more

What's not to like about Starbucks other than the price. Great coffee, wonderful customer service, tremendous variety in product. But watch those high calorie drinks with full fat milk and/or cream, lots of sugar...they will lead to a fat belly and bulging thighs. Choose low or non fat milk, for go the whipped cream and cut your white sugar intake. Try their stevia blend instead of sugar. You will thank yourself in your latter years. Fat and sugar cause cancer. Especially milk fat. read more

This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations in Mendocino County! Anytime I go there the service is friendly, my drink is always made perfectly(and if not they are more than happy to fix it), they are prompt and polite. Most of the baristas are sweet and happy to help(most, not all). This Starbucks has made my mornings so much better on my commute, and for that I am grateful. Overall it's worth the wait, I highly recommend it. read more

There steam wand was and has been broken. I guess corporate don't care. I asked for milk and they thought half and half was same thing

So bad! So so bad. Waited in line for 25 minutes and the line did not move at all. There was only 1 girl there, and in the whole 25 minutes she only made one drink and started another. I was so desperate for my drink I waited...but when all the Safeway employees came over and chatted with their Starbucks co-workers and customers, making everything slower and more crowded, I gave up. I have no idea when the next Starbucks will pop up on our road trip, but I'll suffer until then. Anything would be better that this Starbucks and their employees and customers. Boooooo read more

I tried this Starbucks out again :( I ordered a Trenta black iced tea. I watched the girl make it, the cup was only 3/4 of the way full so she just added more ice. The worst part was that she looked at me first to see if I was watching. When I spend this much on tea, I want my money's worth. They really need to look at who they employ here read more

The poorest Starbucks in Safeway ever been to, I stopped going here, never get my drink right it the only Starbucks in town

Stopped in here during a long drive from Southern OR to the Bay Area. Noticed the reviews were low but we didn't have a problem ourselves. I double-checked to see if Starbucks gift cards could be used at the location, because I know that grocery store locations can sometimes work differently than the typical Starbucks stands. The barista explained that she could accept the card but she couldn't redeem any free drink rewards. I ordered a medium soy hazelnut latte and my girlfriend ordered a medium iced hazelnut latte. The lady who made the drinks prepared them quickly and correctly. I would say my only complaint was the girl who took our order seemed a bit distracted talking to her coworkers but it wasn't that big of a deal. Seemed like a fairly typical experience from any location and I wasn't disappointed or anything. read more

This Starbucks is in the Safeway in Willits. I found the location online but it said it was closed. I took a a chance that since it was 9 in the morning that it might be opened. We pulled into the parking lot and there was no Starbucks signage on the outside of the store that I could see. Needing a coffee, I decided to check it out any way. Thankfully it was there and open. I was able to walk right up to the counter and order my normal tall skinny vanilla latte with an extra shot and six pumps of vanilla. I didn't have to repeat my order like I sometimes have to, which is good. The barista quickly made my coffee, which tasted good. It was an easy in and out coffee run with no fan fare. Barista didn't ask my name, just simply took my order and money. I didn't feel like they were rude nor did I feel like they were trying very hard to be friendly. Just kinda neutral. Took my order, made my coffee and sent me on my way. Compared to other Starbucks, this was just an ok experience. read more
