Stopped in while I was in the area. Small seating area. I wanted a green tea with lemonade, and they were out of lemonade. If it was just that item, no biggie. But I heard guests after me order items that were out as well. Person that took my order was texting on his phone as I was ordering. read more

First time visiting since the remodeling. It's beautiful and has a much nicer flow too the store as well. The wooden along side the counter certainly brightens up the place as well. Upon arrival a new employee was seemingly confused with the order I was about to place. Grateful is an understatement for why a near by employee did to assist the confusion. I must give a big Thank you to; Mari-jo She heard the calm yet confused exchange between myself and the first employee and Mari-Jo understood the first employee had struggles comprehending my order and therefore the first employee didn't know where to start with the computer and ringing in the order.. Mari-Jo offered to hop on and assist. I am glad she did as the apparent confusion from the other-seemingly-new employee was a bit discerning when "S'mores hot, Lattè style" was delivered and the facial expression received was that of confusion... The drink came out delicious as usual and here I write while appreciating the abundant outlets by nearly every table. Great job on the remodeling and thank you for the delicious drink! read more

I am a Starbucks addict so I frequent them all over the Chicago area. I have family and friends who live in Western Springs so this is a semi regular stop on my Starbucks journeys. What I love best about this particular store is the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to accommodate my beverage request with a smile. Starbucks in the Chicago area, keeping me awake and buzzed nearly every day. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Western Springs, Illinois

This is my favorite Starbucks in the area. Parking is GREAT and the baristas are the best around. ... everyone knows it, as sometimes it can get quite busy, but isn't that true of any Starbucks? Love the drinks, love the people, love the atmosphere! read more

Starbucks - Cute storefront - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Western Springs, Illinois

The baristas at this location are the SWEETEST. I work right down the street and got tied up one morning so I couldn't pick up my drink for a little bit and by the time I got to Starbucks it was watered down. (completely because of me!!) and the ladies made me a new one... Kind of silly but I thought it was really nice of them! read more

Always fast, friendly, skillfully made drinks at this location. Baristas are among the nicest I know. Open late, great outdoor patio in back for lounging and relaxing. Ample parking day or night, people spouting "howdy neighbor!" read more

The friendliest Starbucks. Get my coffee here every day and it is perfectly done. The staff is always professional and welcoming, especially Chris and the manager. Thanks for being here! read more

The pasries are very poor: salty and oily. Also, once I ordered a large decaf. It was extremely bitter, undrinkable. I did not order any coffee ever again after that. read more

Customer service at this location is the absolute worst. Not 1 or 2 visits just about Everytime I have gone in this location I have had to ask where my drink is. Mobile order forget about it. They just don't care. They aren't rude just lazy and don't work unless they are asked to. I try to avoid this spot as much as I can. ZERO stars. read more

Nice Starbucks. However two things wrong. 1) I couldn't get a Venti pourover of Sumatra. Though they managed to save the day with a Venti pourover of Espresso. Gee even the Starbucks in Wisconsin Dells can manage to get this right. And secondly they seemed puzzled as to what the Clover Machine was. I tried to explain it to them. Sort of not good. Lucky I was in a good mood and my alternative Venti cup of coffee was good or this would have gone sort of badly! read more

What can I say? Our Starbuck's baristas are incredible! They are so kind and such expert craftsmen. They are personable and friendly. I also have to say I am a fan of most of their pastries, as well as the breakfast sandwich - turkey bacon, low fat cheese and whole wheat english muffin. What I don't love about Starbucks are their beans. They are over-roasted. The coffee tends to have a bitter, sharp taste and I can not drink it without cream. The only reason I even can say I can begin to understand is I went to Costa Rica and toured a coffee plantation and talked for hours to coffee growers and roasters. We got to have fresh roasted!!! coffee in a pour over. I was schooled. Once you have the cream of the crop, nothing compares. Beans actually do have flavors if you don't roast them to death. I prefer a medium roast. But I am not complaining too much, because, yes, I do frequent Starbucks. When I am too lazy to make a cup at home, or don't have my good beans from Bridgeport roasters (that aren't over a week old!), I will go to Starbucks. Plus, they have free wifi. Although this particular Starbucks is not the best for me to sit and study or be on the computer as it is small and busy. Starbucks is a great place for the little town of Western Springs. I am grateful it is here. read more

The Starbucks in downtown Western Springs is blessed with a large patio that is shielded from street noise. The interior of the store is rather average overall. At the time of my review, the store is well run. This is a very good Starbucks, one that I and my friends prefer to most others in the neighboring Western suburbs (Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Lagrange) for meeting and enjoying a coffee and conversation. The store is across the street from Oberweis. It is attached to the First National Bank of Lagrange building. There is no Starbucks sign on the outside, but that is where it is. The store occupies the Grand Avenue side of the bank building. The front entrance is on Burlington. In the back is the store's nice size parking lot, which, curiously, often manages to fill up. The patio faces the parking lot, and the rear entrance is from the patio. The interior space is just average sized, with only a couple of armchairs, with wood tables and chairs for the rest. Because the two entrances converge on the order counter, the apparent traffic flow appears to be amplified. Sitting inside can jangle the nerves a bit during busy times. I'm thinking not so much of the morning commuters as I am of the mothers with young children who congregate at Starbucks in the late morning. That being said, the current management is more than willing to lower the background music, or turn it off completely, if we request it and if the store is relatively empty. Not many stores will tamper with the loud and intrusive Starbucks background music, which must be a corporate mandate, just like the lack of wall clocks. The arm chairs are in a corner, but they are right on the hallway to the bathrooms. I preferred the former placement of the chairs, near the bank, and in the corner. On the other hand, the new location gets more light, which makes it more pleasant to read the Sunday New York Times or some other paper. In other words, evaluating just the interior space, this Starbucks is an average store in most respects. Where the Western Springs store stands out is in its al fresco cafe area. The patio is large. Its layout makes it seem as though it is anchored in the bank and coffee shop building and extends outward without any constraint --- that it just keeps going. A nicely landscaped area sits between the patio and Grand Avenue. The patio looks directly out onto the parking lot, but traffic flow in the lot is not at all disturbing or distracting. The Starbucks - Western Springs is one of the nicer places to drink coffee outdoors, in the Western suburbs. (The patio at Hinsdale Starbucks - Whole Foods has its own pluses and minuses, but I still prefer the Western Springs store for sitting outdoors.) Neither Burlington nor Grand Avenue is very busy. The shrubbery shields the outside tables from Grand Avenue and the store's building stands between the patio and Burlington. Trains go by every now and then. You do hear those. And cars come and go from the parking lot. The rest of the time you are enjoying peace, fresh air, and sunshine. In summary, the Starbucks - Western Springs is an average store with an exceptionally fine outdoor seating area. If weather permits, and you like to have coffee outdoors, I suggest that you try it for yourself. read more

20 minutes for a ice latte, while other much more complicated drinks were made before mine. Terrible service just like the other reviews. Plenty of better places in the area. Go get a drink from them and avoid this location. Other people in the store also seemed unimpressed with the service. read more

The problem with this location is the attitude. I think two employee's there even bother to smile. They are borderline rude and drinks take forever. If you can drive the extra mile to the LaGrange location, then do it. This Starbucks needs to clean house, except for Eddie, the only guy really holding that place together. They, like most Starbucks fail at basic customer service. read more

The owner of this store is a huge jerk. Intolerable to customers request. Have you not heard of customer service sir? Maybe instead of telling me that you don't know what it is that I am requesting which was whipped cream in a cup, you take the time and effort to use your little brain to figure it out. Thank you for nothing. By the way, last I checked western springs was more kind and loyal to their customers than this jackass. I have taken this experience and will ensure to take my business to another Starbucks/other coffee establishment in the area. Thank you very much! read more

this one starbucks had terrible service. I came here with my friends and all of there drinks were frozen and they messed up my order. They seemed out of it and no interest in the people's orders. I had to repeat my order a couple of times before she "got it right" but in the end it was still wrong. read more

I am completely dissatisfied with my experience here today. I come to this starbucks a lot but it just so happened that this time every worker was a highschool boy. My friend and i were so excited to try the new sunset menu and waited until 3pm to get a granita and trifle. Wait a second... We got there at 2:58 and those guys made us wait until 3. My friend ordered the caramel espresso granita and i ordered the fudge brownie trifle. The barista literally wasnt even paying attention and my friend repeated herself and he asked her how many shots of espresso she wanted. She unknowingly said one because they normally do not ask that. He asked if that was all and we were like are you kidding we just ordered two things.... But then i ordered the fudge brownie trifle AGAIN and they tried to hand me just a brownie from the bakery and when i told them what i actually wanted. They rudely and annoyed sounding said they couldnt make it because they were out of the syrup. I asked for a simple iced coffee with mocha. They gave me a plain iced coffee and they literally gave my friend a single shot of just espresso with a pump of caramel..... It filled up 1/4 of the cup. How STUPID can you be!!! We went to dunkin afterwards. Come on starbucks. Hire some decent employees and not highschool boys whos bikes are chained up in the back. read more
