Amazing customer service at this location. I'm a snootie foodie and I got help picking my ingredients for this delicious Matcha Frap with protein milk and protein powder. Upbeat atmosphere as you would expect from Starbucks locations. Loved this drink!! read more

Starbucks - Watered down - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Weslaco, Texas

I went through the drive thru and the barista attended me promptly. I was asked what I wanted and I proceeded with my most ordered drink. A Grande Chai Tea Latte with soy milk, hot. They baristas usually ask if I want anything else. It's after this that I mention I want it with no water and six pumps of Chai. Saying it all at once is a mouthful and can be confusing to most baristas, increases that chances of an erroneous order. This time, the order was placed adequately and with not hiccups. The wait line through the drive thru wasn't long. There were three vehicles in front of me and they were promptly served. There isn't much to say about this Starbucks. I gave it three stars because it's an average Starbucks with average services. Now, that's not meant to be a negative thing. There is nothing wrong with being average. It's just that the services provided didn't particularly stand out over other Starbucks around the valley. It's about what you would expect from a Starbucks. read more

Worse Starbucks ever! Lines are always ridiculously long. Then they never ever have sugar free creamers then they don't do "specific drinks... which is weird because I always order the same drink practically all the time! read more

Love the customer service! The coffee here is amazing. I just don't like how on google it says it opens at 5 but it actually opened at 5:30.

The closest Starbucks in the area for me, another Starbucks is a good 15-20mins away so there's not that many choices. The only drinks that I have always ordered from Starbucks are Greentea Frappuccino and Hazelnut Frappuccino, and yet about 3 of the 5 times that I have ordered the greentea frappe, they wouldn't have it, running out of greentea was always the reason. The staff has their good and bad days. Not what I would expect from Starbucks baristas, but I'm just glad for now that they have one near where I stay. read more

I like it simple: venti mocha frapp, no whip. If you want to order from the (not so) secret menu...[http://www.starbucksdrinks.com/starbucks-secret-menu-list] Biscotti Frappuccino - Buy a biscotti and ask the barista to blend it up with any flavor of frappuccino. It blends into tiny cookie chunks that add a delicious little crunch to your frozen coffee. Short Drink - The sizes the "mainstream menu" gives you are "Tall," "Grande" and "Venti," but if you say you want the "short" size to any Starbucks drink you can receive a less expensive and smaller sized drink. Although this size is in their cash register, they don't put it on the menu as a marketing strategy to make customers buy larger and more expensive drinks. Short cappuccino - A "Short" cappuccino is a more Italian style cappuccino. Basically this cappuccino leaves out the gallons of milk Starbucks puts in for the more traditional amount of dairy that the drink originated with. Red Eye - A shot of espresso in regular drip coffee. Black Eye - Two shots of espresso in regular drip coffee. Green Eye - Three shots of espresso in regular drip coffee. Not for anyone with a heart condition or road rage issues. Poor Man's Latte - Order an Iced Americano with no water and half ice, then you can add free half and half at the little milk and condiments table. This is the same drink as a Breve Latte but costs much less. Just watch out for the classy police. This is definitely not the most chic thing to be caught doing by your mother-in-law or boss. Poor Man's Chai Latte - Order a Chai Tea Misto with extra foam, two tea bags, and half cinnamon-half vanilla syrup. This is basically the same drink but almost half the price. Cafe au Lait - If you're French and looking for something nostalgic of your homeland order the Misto without foam for a classic French coffee drink. French pressed coffee - You can choose any coffee they sell by the bag and have it served in a French press. For coffee snobs, this is one of the best way to appreciate all of the flavors of the coffee you chose. Chocolate Cream Frapuccino - Chocolate syrup and chocolate flavoring. Lots and Lots of chocolate! Do not underestimate the amount of chocolate in this frozen blended coffee. Only for the true chocolate lover die hard. Chocolate Dalmation - The Chocolate Dalmatian adds java chips and chocolate chips to a white chocolate mocha for that extra something. Cake Batter Frappuccino - You can lick the edges of the cup afterwards too. The Cake Batter Frappuccino is a vanilla frap with both vanilla bean and almond flavoring. read more

I do not understand the point of a mobile app if they do not follow through with it. Multiple times I have sent my orders 10 min in advance and every time as I get off to get my order, my cup is sitting in the very back. And as customers are BARELY ordering they continue to get placed in front of multiple mobile orders. There are 7 employees working and most of them are standing around having a conversation. This Starbucks has really gone down hill and I don't give it much more time for it to be completely run down. Slow service. Bad service. Store manager needs to reevaluate their employees and start conducting performance base ratings or something. read more

I honestly love Starbucks company but most importantly the workers the hard work they put in and although there might be some mistakes it isn't them almost 100 customers coming in it takes skill to be fast. I thank them for there genuine and generous service read more

Cleanliness 4 Ambience 5 Food and Drinks 5 Service 5 Prices 4 I enjoy coming to this Starbucks when I have business in the mid valley. Some Starbucks are lacking the proper customer service. However the baristas here are very welcoming and easy to talk to. They gladly suggest items so you can have a pleasant experience. I will return bc these employees make the place. read more

More milk than coffee. This place is absolutely terrible. Very inconsistent, stick to any other Starbucks location.

I waited in line for a peach green tea only to be told, yet again, that they don't have it. Time wasted, but could've been avoided if they would just remove it from the menu. Thanks, Starbucks, for motivating me even more to make it at home. read more

I went yesterday and waited for about 35 min in line to order, only to be told they were out of all the things I wanted. This is the third time I have gone and that has happened. I ended up getting a coffee and my order was made wrong. Ridiculous! read more

Always way too long of a wait. I wait an average of 30-40 minutes every time. Not sure why it's always like this. Even with only like 5 cars it takes forever. Would like to see service get faster or another one opened up close to this location. Being from Seattle (the original Starbucks) this is just sad. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Weslaco, Texas

I love starbucks if for some reason reason my drink is not to my liking they will fix it for me. I can't complain at all.

I love my Starbucks location! The baristas already know what I like and they are very friendly. If I want to try something new they never hesitate to make me a sample of a drink they think I may like. If I order something and don't like it they change it for me. The management is great and very talkative attentive friendly ! read more

Have always had a great experience even when they would mess up the order , but today .. I was pretty much told we are very busy with tons of drink orders , so it was okay for my order to made incorrectly. It was not so much the incorrect made drinks but more the poor customer service. Honestly I was so sadden to be treated this way. read more

I was waiting for my drink patiently they were multiple people behind me and they got their drink first the man that took my order saw me waiting instead you haven't got your drink yet I said no they gave me a Venti with two cake pops read more

I'd give it lower than one star if possible. We went to Starbucks and were in line waiting since 10:26 (mind you they close at 11) there were only 5 cars ahead of us so PLENTY of time to get us all dispatched. Three more cars arrived after us not even 5 mins after. Well when it's time to order we get hit with "We're sorry we're closed. We close at 11." So the heck with the almost 40 mins we were in line right?! I visit Starbucks frequently and this location ALWAYSSSSSSS takes forever to dispatch orders! Maybe if they would've been working quicker the cars who were in line with enough time before closing would've been served. Management should of already fixed this! Oh and by the way don't ask them why they don't turn off the lights outside because they are always on according to the girl working drive thru. Only restaurant who does that I guess. read more

ThisbUSED to be a fantastic Starbucks. The crew was like family. Now there is a constant flow of new faces who never seem to get enough training time. The wait lines are long and some of the staff is rude. On that note, the manager Joni is the worst. Blatantly rude to customers and her coworkers (All the time) and always either rolling her eyes and sounding so fake, or just abandoning the team and customers during th busiest times. Often when i do sit for some downtime or to work, she leaves to the back never to resurface. Poor baristas try their hardest and are 99% of the time quite helpful and friendly. But sometimes you can see their struggle as more customers get agitated. That woman is an AWFUL store manager. On a brighter note, Melissa is fantastic and fast, Justin is a hoot and lani is the absolute best! Whatever or whoever trained them should train the rest. read more

Currently waiting in line as I post this. Been in line for 15min and there was only 4 cars in front of me. They need to get the drive thru together. The drinks are always good though but not sure if they are worth the wait. read more

Friendly service but they take way too long especially on a Sunday morning. Wife snd I waited about 20 minutes or more for two coffees. It was slow to begin with and it's getting worse read more

The baristas are not trained properly to make certain hot drinks. Also, hot beverages served at warm temperature. I don't see these same issues in McAllen area. read more

This Starbucks is no different than the rest. Most of the time the cashiers are quick with the order but when they ask if you want room for cream they forget to leave room. The coffee is usually burned If you like regular drip coffee. Not the best place to stop if you are in a hurry. The wait time is greater than 15 min inside or drive thru. Won't be stopping anytime soon. read more
