Delicious pastries
Sandra P.

The customer service was on point. Everyone had a good attitude. The selection of pastries, sandwiches, and drinks definitely beats the selection at the Starbucks in the U.S. I ordered some tarts and a honey walnut drink. It was bomb. I made sure to come early to look for the senoritas that dude Michael on the other reviews was talking about but they never stopped by. Was hoping getting a lap dance while you drink a coffee to be the new thing. Not sure why the ladies in club attire at 7 am warrant giving this place 3 stars but this place is dope. Hope to be back. Good coffee, good food, and good people.

Panoramic view from inside.

Nice large SB located by the Marina and about 10 minutes away from PV's airport. They serve the typical US Starbucks menu. Staff is friendly can understand and speak English. There is a large seating area both indoors and outdoors. Internet service is available but you must make a purchase and your receipt will have the username and password for their hotspot. A great place to meet friends, sit back, relax and enjoy a book and coffee.

Breakfast!

I ordered a green juice and a hot chocolate to drink, both of which were amazing. the juice was natural and made right there in the kitchen, and the hot chocolate was good enough to remind me of the hot chocolate i make at home. my sister and i wanted to share two things from the menu, and they very kindly split our meal into seperate plates for us. i had half of the nutella and banana waffle, and the green chilaquiles with chicken. both of these plates were amazing, and left me feeling satisfied and honestly just in a good mood. the owner's husband came out and spoke to us, and. his presence around the restaurant definitely created a welcoming and positive atmosphere all around. my parents ordered coffees, and he explained to us that the coffee they use is local, harvested about 2 hours from nuevo vallarta, and he orders it weekly to make sure the coffee he makes is as fresh as possible. we ended up ordering a kilogram of ground coffee to take back home because it was so good! the menu had a plethora of other juices and smoothies, as well as different milk options for those seeking non-dairy options. very accessible for people with dietary restrictions/preferences! overall, this breakfast experience was awesome, and had i known about this restaurant a few days ago, i wouldnt have gone to the other restaurant 20ft away. if you're in the nuevo/puerto vallarta area looking for a nice, organic, and trendy breakfast with a local feel, definitely check out So Chill :-)

My husband and I are coffee lovers, and with their coffee selections, it was hard to pass on the coffee. We had a frappe with a scoop of ice cream and a vanilla iced latte with almond milk. The ice cubes were made of coffee. We started with a plate of fresh fruit. My husband got their red chilaquiles with chicken, and I had the breakfast burrito. Both were flavorful and filling. We ended our breakfast with a complimentary ice cream sample of mango and vanilla. We will be back for a scoop. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

True to its name -- Spanish slang for "calm down" or "take it easy" or even "chill out" it is a straightforward cafe with slightly elevated prices and genuinely excellent customer service. That service, more than anything else, is what drives its strong reputation. The space inside is large enough to accommodate some decent sized groups, but due to the lack of ventilation I opted for their limited outdoor seating. It wasn't the most ideal situation, as a sign fell on top of my table, a stray dog was sniffing around, and the next door space was undergoing loud construction. We still made it work, due to the graciousness of the staff and their willingness to stay open past 4pm. Their iced latte ($70MXN), double espresso ($55MXN), and mambo smoothie ($110MXN) was the right thing to order at the time, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The latte had a good amount of milk in it, so much to the point that I was unsure about any coffee. This place is cash only and the lack of additional IVA tax charges came as a nice surprise. When I'm back in PV, I'm definitely interested in trying their brunch. The chilaquiles, breakfast tacos look fabulous, though the rest of the menu seems a bit skewed toward the gringo palate. The ultra friendly staff make this place what it is, which is worthy of many future visits.
