Of the many Starbucks I've been to, this is definitely mid tier. It's a great drive-thru location, but not a great indoor spot. The drive thru wraps around the shop, and it's really easy to get to. It's off the busy street of Sepulveda, so if you're stuck in traffic and feel like getting a pick me up, this is your spot! Inside, the vibe feels pretty cool. Very tall open windows all around. You can feel the natural light coming in from every side. This place has no need for lights while the sun is out. You can see the cars in the drive thru lane going around you. It's a unique experience. Because of how busy it is in the drive thru, the interior is somewhat neglected. There are many baristas clearly focused on pumping drinks for the next drive thru order, but there were a few occasions I saw (and experienced) where the inside order was just forgotten. If you only want a drink, I recommend going drive thru. The indoor seating arrangements are not well thought out. It feels like nice wide open area, but there's no sense of privacy anywhere. The people that are waiting for drinks are hovering around the mid section where the bigger tables are. There are a string of tables on the edge that might slightly feel like a workspace, but there's a door right next to it. The walkway leads right to the counter, so when you sort of lock in on your material, people occasionally pop up right behind you taking you out of the zone. read more

The parking lot is small, but I had no problem finding a parking spot that day. There is ample seating indoors, and the indoor area is well-lit with natural light, which was great. I noticed the place is kept pretty clean, and this included the restrooms. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay here, with a plus being that I secured a deal with the client that I met here that day. I love this Starbucks location! Let's start with the Baristas there: Sami, Daniel, Art, Amanda and Carlos (I Think that's his name??) and I knew I'm missing a couple but they are so friendly. Sami is always greeting me, checks in and ensures my beverages are made to satisfaction. Clearly I go all the time because they know me by name & order, but the fact they write little encouraging messages on my beverage lids or food bags makes my day. A great group and they handle crisis management very well as they tend to get a few homeless individuals in there from time to time as well as heavy crowds. I decided to get a caramel drizzle on top because a frappuccino without caramel on top sounds dry and kinda boring. I got my drink and gave it a taste test, and to my surprise it was really good. I stopped by this Starbucks to pick up my wife mobile order since my dentist is in the same plaza. I saw that the drive thru here around 8:30am get ready busy so FYI. This Starbucks location has a lot of parking because it's in a plaza so you shouldn't have any issues finding a spot and they also just repaved the concrete. You might encounter some homeless people here as well but they didn't bother me. I walked in and went straight to the mobile order pickup window. I just told them the name of the order and they handed me the drink. They don't leave it out like other Starbucks, probably due to people stealing drinks so that's good to know. Unfortunately this location lacks basic human decency. If you have any chronic conditions that require the use of a restroom or work outside then I hope your closest location isnt here. While attempting to explain the need for the restroom I was cut off and told it was policy to purchase something to have the code. I can understand the want to keep them clean and stop people from using drugs inside them but people do exist that may have situations where they are unable to purchase an item immediately before the need to use a restroom. People can expect a Starbucks on every corner as they exist on every corner and most have come to expect a higher quality of service than other establishments but it appears this location is training their employees to lack basic human decency. Remember there are people with chronic conditions, people who work outside including city/utility/first responders that work hard to keep cities clean, safe and running and taking a small amount of time listening before immediately shutting them down would have gone a long way. read more

Although I've been visiting and aiming for mom-and-pop coffee shops, occasionally I'll stop by Starbies still and today did so because I had a free drink waiting in my account for months. I created a new concoction - iced chai latte (light ice) and added an espresso shot, matcha powder, Irish cream syrup and Irish cream foam. I chose drive thru pickup but when I arrived around 630am the line was CRAZY so I parked and walked in asking if I could just grab it there.
