I don't know if this location is still open to the public or whether it even still exists, but I used to come here when the old bus station still existed. It's not a particularly exciting Starbucks and as it's in an office building it also mostly adheres to office hours, which is quite often useless to travellers. However, in the days that I still took the bus during the day, this Starbucks was my little gem. Sure I'd have to have the extra time to walk that little bit off my route to get here but the benefit was that this location was always a calm oasis when open. Unlike the location in the train station (back then it was still just the one shop) it was never jam packed with tourists looking for comforts from home or students looking to get their flavoured coffee fix.
Why? For the simple reason that it was an extra, two minute walk away from the train station instead of towards or in it. So like I said, whenever I had the time, I'd always come here and have my coffee without being jittery before any caffeine even entered my body.
If this location still exists and you're looking for peace and quiet in a Starbucks during office hours, this is definitely the place to be! read more
