Let me start by saying I rarely ever go to Starbucks. However I wanted to get a Grande mint majesty tea with 2 honey in honor of CHARLIE KIRK yesterday. When I received the tea it was so scalding hot I could barely hold it. They should have double cupped it but they did not. I also noticed there was no honey in the tea as it was not sweet at all. I parked in the lot and noticed only one tea bag in my cup. I called the store to see how many should be in the tea and he politely told me 2. He offered to come out and bring me the extra tea bag. He was so nice and not only brought me the tea bag but also 2 more for my inconvenience. Very nice!! I just wish they would have made it correctly in the first place. read more

With all the recent openings of competitors to Starbucks in Tyler, you would think that they would want to give the best customer service that they could but it seems that they think they are the best and now have quit trying. We have so many coffee locations for a city our size that it is amazing they can all continue to operate. Perhaps this location may be one of the first to bite the dust. I stopped in here at about 10:30 this morning to get a coffee drink so I could sit outside in their pergola area and drink it and enjoy the morning. I went inside (no, I did not order in advance on the computer or the app; I tried to do it the old fashioned way) and stood at the counter to order. People working there went back and forth in front of me, some warming up baked goods, some mixing this and that, and no one stopped to take my order. I stood there approximately 2-3 minutes and not once did an employee say they would get to me in a minute. No one even acted as if I were standing there. So, I put my $20 bill back in my wallet and walked out to the parking lot without making a purchase. Customer service is the first order of why a business is in business. Without customers making purchases, no money is given to the business. I know there are many ways to order drinks from Starbucks and some of them most likely are faster but a customer should still be able to walk into a business and do business, if the door is open for business, and expect for an employee to notice them and take their order. I will not be back to this particular Starbucks (we only have 10 of them in Tyler) but will most likely think about it when I want coffee and try to patronize a coffee shop that will wait on customers who stand in front of them. read more

Went here on Saturday night at 915 pm. with my family celebrating my 83 year old mom. We were essentially forced outside by the cleaning crew. When we took our coffees and snacks outside, one cup was accidentally turned over, spilling coffee all over the table and snacks. We went back inside to get help cleaning this up. They said they weren't responsible for outdoor cleaning at Starbucks, but let us have 4 small napkins, no more. I wonder about the management team for this store. Pitiful customer focus!! read more

Baristas made fun and complained about my order (they did not know I could hear them.) Humiliating and they made my drink wrong and said "it is what it is," to each other before giving it to me. I understand orders cannot be cookie cutter perfect, but I placed my order online through the app and waited 30 minutes in time. This was just two drinks by the way (not Frappuccinos either). Go to another Starbucks for your own sake. read more

10 people waiting for mobile orders. I waited 10 minutes and then asked AGAIN about my mobile order... the associate picked the sticker off the floor and said I'm making your order now?!? After I ordered it 20 minutes ago?!? And now 2 people from the drive through just came in because their order was screwed up! Get it together please I don't pay $15 for 2 cups of coffee to have to wait and have my orders be wrong! I had to say excuse me twice and was still ignored. I was finally acknowledged and Maggie the manager said oh lol it's been sitting here the whole time! Unacceptable DO BETTER. Don't worry I called customer service and told them about my terrible experience..... I also told them about the amazing Starbucks on Troup &323.... I'll go to that location from now on! read more

My review is simply due to customer service. Sunday 8/16 drive thru at 8am- I asked for my usual cold brew but they were sold out :( I got an iced coffee instead. When I got to the window, the worker, a female, apologized for not having cold brew (this has never happened at any other Starbucks when they've been out of a product!!) She said they were slammed on Saturday and hadn't been able to restock yet. The 5 stars is for the female worker in the drive thru. An apology for an item not being available goes a long way! read more

Starbucks Cumberland Village-- let's get it together!! Busy or not, shouldn't take 30+minutes to get a dang coffee. Holiday season is coming up and yall will be even busier. Hope to see a change at this location with quick service. read more

The store manager is awful. Her customer service is definitely lacking. She was speaking rudely to her employees and to the customers. She definitely needs to be replaced. Two stars because the rest of the crew is very helpful and respectful. read more

I went on 12/20/21 and arrived about 40 min before closing. After waiting in line inside the restaurant for 7-8 min, I was informed they wouldn't serve me because they were too busy to take my order and wouldn't be taking anymore coffee orders for the evening. They should have put a sign on the door or told me when I came in. Manager said she was on the phone with the owner and that they were completely okay with this. read more

I was given cold coffee when I went through the drive thru. No big deal. When I walked inside to get another cup, the Barista said the coffee was cold because there was creamer in it. After getting a bit more attitude, I just left. Extremely disappointing! I just needed some freaking HOT coffee...hold the attitude please. read more

This place is horrible . I ordered a white chocolate mocha frappe . I watched my frappe sit for 15 minutes before I got it and it was almost pure liquid & it had no whip on top . Also did not have the Carmel drizzle I paid extra for . When confronted the cashier she told me they couldn't refund me that I could throw it away . Probably the worst coffee I have ever had made. This is the only location in Tyler who struggles with the simplest of orders. I'm not sure I even got coffee in my iced coffee with milk & 3 pumps of vanilla with 2 pumps of toffee nut... it was completely white. I had to add my own coffee to it when I got to work. I should have had them remake it but needed to hurry to work. Highly disappointed. What a waste of gas & time & $3.00 considering it went straight in the trash from being undrinkable. I will continue using the different locations in Tyler but am done with Cumberland village. read more

The WiFi here is horrible. I could barely get any work done. People come here when they work remotely and it's very disappointing, as most Starbucks have great internet. read more

I have never had any issues with my drinks, but the drive thru line is horrible. It's always backed up and down the road. The service is just so slow. Even going inside to order, or having a mobile order, you still end up waiting 20 plus minutes. read more

This is the only Starbucks in town with really, really bad customer service and is poorly managed. If you want to be treated like dirt, this is the place to go. Don't expect them to be adequately stocked either. The newest Starbucks in Tyler, and its by far the worst. read more
